D&D miniatures game starter
love them, the young green dragon is very detailed and a perfect size, the other 4 figures are also very good,i was pleased wit the price because i haven't been playing D&D long and find some of the things a little pricey.it also good if you just want them for show in your room.

Brilliant Value
As the other reviewers have said, this pack contains 5 models, 2 large map sheets, a d20 dice, a short rule booklet and some game cards. The models are excellent quality, with the "green dragon" being almost as big as the other 4 combined (about 8cm long). The maps are paper, but are very colourful and quite large. The d20 is a blue pattern you can almost see in the picture.Given the quality of the models (particularly the green dragon), and the extra content, I think this pack is brilliant value for money.

Good Value
This is really useful for 4th Edition D&D as well as the mini's game. The figures are good quality and come with the rules and tools needed for the mini game. The maps and some of the tokens can also be used with 4h edition D&D so even if you dont play the mini game this is well worth the money.

Good quality, great fun
I got this for my son (age 8) and he loves to play it. There are high quality maps and figures in the pack. I know the rules anyway so we were up and playing in minutes.

Good for a starter
I've had this for at least a year now and it gets a lot of use. The minis are mostly good except the dragon's base is warped and doesn't sit well on the table. The poster maps you get are also nifty for when you want to set up an encounter really quick. The tokens you get are also useful for placing on the grid (for example when my brother's wizard uses cloud of daggers, I place the "Ongoing damage" token on the grid). The PC minis are pretty diverse too and even if you play as a race/class that doesn't match, one of them is likely to be relatively close enough, visually speaking - so it's good as a starter kit. All in all, pretty decent: the only reason it loses a star is because of the warped dragon base.

Excellent quality and value
I don't play the min game, instead I bought this for the monsters and maps for role playing 4th edition D&D, which I DM once a month. The packaging is awesome. The moulded case holds the figures well and my set had no bent weapons or disfigured forms. The d20 is nice. This starter set includes five FIXED and EXCLUSIVE figures, this means that each starter set contains the same five figures, and that this starter set is the only place you can get these five figures. You get three good guys (Human Sellsword, Elf Warlock, Dwarf Battlemaster) and two bad guys (Yuan-Ti Swiftscale and Young Green Dragon).Unfortunately Wizards of the Coast are being affected by the credit crunch and sadly they have recently had to restructure and lay off some staff. As a result of this they will no longer be producing the D&D Collectible Miniatures Game, instead focusing on non-random and semi-random miniature packs aimed at those role playing 4th edition D&D. There will be two types of packs, one type aimed at players and the other type aimed at DM's.Good news for role players and bad news for the miniature players, however, WotC have said that they will support the fans of the mini game in developing their own rules.

Recommended for any D&D fan!
My son has started going to a D&D club. I wasn't sure that these would be the right thing as they are miniatures, but I needn't have worried! He always takes them and uses them and is very pleased!
