Charcoal Gray

Lately my butt does not like it when my knees are higher than my hips. I'm not sure why; it just cropped up. My PT suggested raising my seat, but I'm a tall guy and the seat is only able to adjust so high. This wedge lets me even out my seating position. I tried Tush Cush's regular wedge, but it's so wide that the edges of the bucket seat caused the cushion to dip down in the middle, and the edges of the cushion got wedged inward, making the 'bucket' too narrow for my backside. This one fits between the edges of the seat perfectly. Ideally, it would be a bit longer from front to back, and perhaps just a little less firm, but it helps immensely. Does seem very expensive for a piece of foam with a fabric cover, but it's the only thing I've found that helps.

Had one of these on a long flight which saved me from severe pain from damaged coccyx. I used it for months and it stood up to almost constant use. It held its shape and it’s easily cleaned. Would definitely recommend.

I had higher hopes for this seat pad. My tailbone is my main pain point during the day. I’ve tried all different seat pads and sitting positions. Also a couple different chairs. I’ve tried Smitty where my pelvis is pointing forward and my legs are more of a dangle. It never fails, by my first morning break I already have the burning stabbing uncomfortable pain. I would say this cushion helps by 50%. Meaning I can still feel the same pain there but I would rate it about 50% less severe. I did try it at first alone with no other support. That didn’t last long. I ended up with it on top of my gel like honeycomb seat( that material like the purple mattress) that’s maybe an inch or two thick. Seemed to produce better results for me that way but that could just be a “dependent on your type of chair” kind of thing. Overall, it’s okay. It’s been the only thing I’ve found so far that “kinda” helped. But again not the relief I was expecting. If I had a say so in the redesign I would sharpen the angle just a little more and possibly use a thicker denser foam. ……oh also a petty compliant-I ordered Grey and received Black instead so that was kinda irritating for as much as the things costs. Then come to find out there’s a “No Return Policy” on it. That itself lead to the loss of a whole star!!!

My physical therapist recommended this to me so that I could have proper alignment to relieve a pinched nerve. Used it in the car and on a plane!

These cushions are life savers, especially on long car trips or plane rides. They relieve pressure on the lower spine and make you sit up straight. Also, I like the fact that they are firmer than competing products because if this kind of cushion is too soft it loses its effectiveness, especially if the seat on which it's placed is not a flat surface.The problem with this particular cushion is that it is narrower than it used to be. I have other Car Cush cushions that are slightly wider than this one. This particular cushion is a bit too narrow, especially for big people.

THe product is well made and when you have an issue with your tail bone and sitting you will try almost anything. When I sat on it on a chair in the house it seemed to be so, but when I put it in my car, with bucket seets, the wedge was just to wide. I think if I had a bench seat I would have liked it more. I also noticed that it raises you in your car do if you can not adjust your seat up and down, you may have a problem with the extra hight. I gave it a three becase it did want it said, providing you have a seat that is wide enough for the wedge and are happy with the position you are in with the extra hight in you car

The cushion was only used two times so far, and was purchased to add height for an elerly person getting in out of a car with bucket seats, and it has worked out well for that purpose. The foam in this cushion is a little hard and not as comfortable as I thought it would be. However, after more use it may start to soften up some. The price is too high for a foam cushion of this type.
