I have the Zodiac MX6 and the hose that it came with did not last very long before it started to split, week after week. This Puri Tech Kreepy Krauly works perfect. Even though the zodiac has a twist and lock mechanism on the hose, you can just push this hose to the zodiac hose and it stays put. No need to buy a special attachment/adapter. The best part is that this hose does not seem to tangle up at all, unlike the zodiac hose that tangled frequently. I have only had it for a few weeks but so far so good. It also claims to have some sort of protection from pool chemicals and the sun, so I hope that holds true. For the price, this is a great purchase.

I bought this hose to replace a few sections near the head of my barracuda that had gotten old and developed leaks. On a different issue, I had also been trying all types of solutions to prevent my Barracuda getting stuck in the corner near my pool steps. Nothing worked. I replaced the broken hose sections with these new sections. Wahlah! now the Barracuda never gets stuck. Only thing I can figure is that this hose is more flexible than the hose that originally came with the unit and that lets the unit work itself out of the areas it used to get stuck in. Not sure of the durability but for solving that one headache of mine, it gets 5 stars.

Fortunately it made sense to replace a lot of these at once. That enabled me to buy a dozen for less than half the in-pool-store unit price. I think these are just as good, and it's always good to ask "Why pay more".

the price is good and they are actually made in the US which is a pleasant surprise . fit other hoses for kreepy or baracuda , downside is that the walls of the hoses themselves are thin and collapse if your pump has strong suction. if these were thicker I would give them five stars

They appear to be more heavy duty they the ones i replaced them with.

So far so good with these hoses. They really are only a fraction of the cost of what I would have paid at the pool store so it was definitely worth it.

First impression is that the hoses seem thinner than the ones sold at the pool store. They are cheaper so I guess that's fair but they are advertised as OEM quality. Time will tell a lot better than a first impression.

usually i can get about 1-1.5 years out of these hoses. my pool is not covered and in full sun. they hold up well.
