Done the job
Used the purple to dye a urban camo jacket for Halloween. Turned out great!

Not the right fabric
I wasn’t sure what type of fabric I had so wast too disappointed when this didn’t really work. I don’t think my fabric is suitable. But at the price I thought it w as worth a try. Good brand.

Easy to use but didn't work for me
Had 2 items that had hand dyed that had some spots where the dye missed. Came out mostly the same (2 dyed with yellow and 1 orange). It had easier instructions than rit dye remover and can be done in a washing machine so thought it was worth a try first. Couldn't find much video info on this product.

Don’t bother
Tried this and followed instructions exactly, had no effect on colour of garment, very disappointed! ended up using another product from rit that did the job as described.

Bit of a let down, so be warned.
Sadly, had to buy the item to get the instructions, which told me it wasn't suitable for the garment I wanted to pre-dye. If it's pure cotton, you're on safe ground, but anything else is pot luck it seems.Managed to get bleach on my brand new, relatively expensive onesie, so thought I'd try and diminish contrast between the bleach stain, and the colour of the fabric, before dyeing it. What I didn't know, until I'd opened the pack and read the instructions, was that it wasn't suitable for cotton / polyester mixes. It basically altered the shade a very tiny amount, and the stain was still there, clear as day. I thought I'd "double ruined" my garment, but thankfully a couple of pods of the Dylon black machine dye pretty much sorted it. Phew! A shame, since I was trying to move away from monochrome clothes. Ah well.

Worse than useless
I followed the instructions to the letter and ended up with clothes largely the same colour with bleach blotches here and there. I strongly recommend you do not use this product!
