Decent scale
Works, the weights are cheesy, and the scale they sit on, the sticker doesn't align with the detents, but it works, and is accurate once you figure it out

Good scale for the cost.
Perfect for the money. The adjuster is cheap. But it works fine. Weighs exactly the same as the RCBS and Lee scales. If you are a perfectionist don’t buy it. But if you want a inexpensive scale to measure grains from 5-500 this works. Did not have any issues with zero or holding zero.

This is the scale I have been wanting.
I first bought one of these scales in the late 60s sold under the Lyman/Oahus. name. I have been wanting to replace my old one which did not survive hurricane Katrina intact. I have an RCBS and a digital scale which I find to be a hassle to use. This scale has proven accurate and easier to use.

Junk. Does not hold zero
Got tired of my finicky electronic scale and decided to go back to basics with a simple balance beam scale. The zero adjuster is very cheap but works ok. But every time I zero it and set my powder charge I get different results from my powder thrower which is historically pretty accurate. You can zero this scale, take the pan off and just put it back on and it will show you that it's off zero. After it didn't even move. Not worth the frustration, would not recommend to anyone.

Never lets me down.
Main thing I like about this scale is the feeling of security knowing my charges are accurate and repeatable for reloading. Nothing beats physics in this way. Digital spring scales with pressure plates imo can never be as accurate. My advice learn how to properly use this scale as a primary or a solid double check. I own 2 of them and check weights just to make certain of accuracy. For best success start with a level platform or as best as you can. Second use a Buble level and adjust the beam to sit level by adding or removing the material under the screw in the tray. This is the tare. Add and remove material to the tray to make level. Then add that to the material under the tray. Ok now adjust the adjustment foot to match were the beam is sitting. Hard to explain easier to do but if you do it you're golden.

Nice quality scale. Especially useful for projectiles.
I bought this as a backup to my backup's, backup (I have two digital scales and another mechanical balance). My other mechanical scale (Lee Safety Scale) only weighs up to 110 grains so this one will come in handy for weighing projectiles. I mainly use my Lee for setting my powder thrower as it is superbly accurate and ultra sensitive. Most people find its sensitivity frustrating and so they malign it as faulty while in truth the problem is operator error. This Ohaus scale will probably only be used to verify bullet weight and other things (like broadheads) beyond the range of the Lee.

Ohaus Balance Beam Scale
Well, this has been a disappointment. Being Ohaus I expected better. This must have been made in China. Even though it has magnetic dampening, the poise takes a while to settle down and is real sensitive. The graduations on the beam don't line up with the pointer.

Works perfectly.
Excellent product. Easy to use and very accurate if used properly. Double checked with a digital scale and it is dead on.
