This AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D with motherboard combo from Micro Center is hands down one of the best deals I’ve come across for a high-end build. The CPU is a powerhouse — super fast, energy efficient, and runs cool even under heavy workloads. Paired with the included motherboard, it made for an incredibly smooth setup right out of the box. Gaming performance is on another level. The 3D V-Cache tech really helps with games that are CPU-bound, and I noticed a significant FPS boost compared to my older Ryzen chip. Multi-tasking and content creation tasks (like video editing and rendering) have been faster and more responsive too. The motherboard included is solid, with plenty of modern features like PCIe 4.0 support, multiple M.2 slots, and solid VRM cooling. BIOS was easy to navigate, and everything was plug-and-play with my existing hardware. If you’re building a high-performance PC for gaming, streaming, or creative work, this bundle is hard to beat, especially at Micro Center’s price point.

It’s been 6 months since I’ve purchased and installed these. No problems so far. Was a good deal when I purchased but who knows how long those prices will last.

This will be the best combo you could ask for, I am not really a motherboard enthusiast but plenty of PCIE 5.0 NVME slots, and this processor has been the biggest upgrade I have seen in performance in a long time; I paired mine with a 5070 and couldn't ask for a better setup for 1440p gaming. Notes: NO BLUETOOTH, only Wi-Fi connection ability (so that means you cannot use your Xbox controller wirelessly) It has 2, 4 pin connectors on the motherboard, you only need to use the right slot and I'm not sure what the secondary slot could be for other than increased power demands beyond comprehension.

Outstanding motherboard. Extremely easy to install and set up. I really like the release button for the video card. The only thing to pay attention to is the initial startup can take an extremely long time depending on how much RAM you put in this system. On the initial startup it does a ram check that could take up to 5 minutes. Depending on how much RAM you put in. This is only during the initial startup. After that the computer starts normal.

Everything seems solid very well made components. I upgraded from a 10 year old rig so much faster however, the heatsinks for this motherboard might get in your way if you got a thick graphics card I moved my rtx3060 into this and as soon as I installed my drivers for it wouldn't work screen went black. Come to find out after 24 hours of frustration it wasn't fully seated into the top pcie slot because of the motherboard heatsinks, so i had to mount it to the bottom pcie slot and works great now. Im gonna purchase a vertical gpu mount because i had to take two case fans out on the bottom to fit gpu into bottom slot, edit: I was unable to figure our a solution for the primary pcie slot kept having issues with it tested ram, psu, ssd, also tested gpu in separate pc had no issues. I tried reinstalled windows didn't work so im reducing my 4 star review to one star as it was a motherboard with a deo pcie slot. I have since purchased the cpu and another better newer asus motherboard separately with no bundle and it was cheaper with a far newer motherboard buyer beware micro center might not have the best quality control.

This thang is thangin’!!!! The combo of 7800X3D and this B850 TUF gaming mobo should make your system “future proof “ for a while. And with these memory price hikes getting on AM5+ or any running DDR5 may be a vastly expensive ( if not potentially impossible) task- thanks AI! The build quality is great as the b850 tuf gaming branded is ASUS’ mid to high tier line of products so you can expect little things like extra aRBG and Fan headers on your board for cool lighting you can always turn off the lighting too if that’s not your thing. You will also have decent warranty and ongoing support for your board. The board comes with a flashback usb slot to get your board up to date to get the expo profiles and fixes for the cpu before you ever seat the chip The Ryzen 7 7800x3d rips through all my tasks and games. I use mudbox, maya, revit for some SFX, premiere & after effects for editing, and rotoscoping, this thing powers through them all. Gaming wise there’s nothing I cant run at max settings 1440p with my 5080. CPU handles all the data just fine no bottle backing. I will over clock once I get a better cooler - Cyberpunk 2077 max settings DLSS with Framegen gets me 300fps on avg and 55C temps on the block. This thing hums. Overall I’m glad I purchased

Bought it for my sister so she could upgrade from Ryzen 5 3600 and she couldn't be happier. I wish I lived close to a Micro Center but this is as good as it's gonna get. She went from the 3600 and 3060 12gb to this and a 5070ti. With prices continually increasing for ram, cpus and everything else. I'm happy she was able to upgrade now instead of waiting even though it hurt the wallet it was worth it.

I’ve been building and repairing systems for years, and this AMD Ryzen setup from Micro Center has really impressed me. The performance is rock-solid, temps stay low even under load, and it fired right up without any issues. Micro Center packaged it perfectly and had it ready when they said they would. You can tell these folks know their stuff — no nonsense, just good hardware and service. Definitely a five-star product from start to finish.
