rel Mushroom Spores in Sawdust Mushroom See

TERRIBLE!!! I THURALLY FOLLOWED INSTRUCTIONS UNDER PERFECT CONDITIONS AND NO MUSHROOMS. I QUESTION WEATHER THERE WER EVEN ANY SPORES OR IF I JUST BOUGHT A BAG OF SAWDUST. SAD IM NOT ELLIGBLE FOR A REFUND EVEN BECAUSE IT TAKES YHEM A YEAR TO PRODUCE AND IVE WAITED 2 YRS. REFUND NO GOOD:( GUESS I GPT SCAMMED!!!

Update: This is no longer the same product or the same seller, though I used Amazon's "reorder" option. This time it arrived from Miami, Florida, which is a lovely city, but NOT a place you can cultivate morels. This was two little cheapo ziplocks of sandy dirt. Looks supremely unpromising. I will reorder from a proper mushroom site and pay the cost of certainty.(Old review)I live in Tennessee on the Cumberland Plateau. This worked perfectly for me. I mixed the package in 5 gallons of water, let it sit a day or two, then poured it over the bases of a stand of poplar trees on on a southeast facing gentle slope. There was a stream very near by, so it is very damp area. I covered the poured areas with extra handfuls of leaves from the forest floor. This was the first weekend of December, 2018. During the first week of April 2019 I found several pounds of enormous, tasty, beautiful morels. The terrain and moisture and shade and tree partners are so important for morels. In the right environment these spores are excellent.

It was a bag of saw dust, planted like the information I received, and they never grew.

I followed the directions as written and still have yet to see any growth... I prepped the site with hardwood pellets, untreated, and tilled in compost and the pellets to a 7 inch depth. I watered the area several times before adding the kit. The bucket water sat for 4 days and was stirred before the kit was added to the water. A real disappointment for us... Oh well...

I honestly think that I received a bag of sawdust with nothing in it absolutely nothing sprouted and I’ve been a gardener for 17 years , not worth the money

I just received the package and it does appear to be small. But to be fair, so are the spores. I will follow the instructions and hopefully will get the mushrooms growing. I have made a 8 ft. x 10 ft. area with the proper soil requirements. I have also purchased some morel spawn from 2 other sellers but I paid much more than $11.99. I also purchased some morel mushrooms at the local supermarket. I am going to test 3 separate areas of my morel garden and see which one does best. Can';t go wrong with the $11.99 purchase!

Being a biggner Inot planted these spores yet. The package did not come with directions Wich was problematic. Although they do look promising.

I followed the directions and put them in two different places. A year later and no results. If that changes I'll come back and change my review.
