Besides being on a low-salt diet, I am also corn intolerant. If anyone has been reading labels, you'll find that just about everything has some form of corn in it (or diary; I'm lactose intolerant, too!). That means I can't eat at Asian restaurants or even buy Asian frozen foods. Between cornstarch and high fructose corn syrup (and caramel color and flavoring, which is usually made from corn syrup), my love for Asian foods has to be satisfied with what I make at home...and soy sauce IS essential. So, I was delighted to find this brand.The taste is perfect for me, just salty enough with a smooth flavor that enhances the food.And the package was probably the best wrapped and protected fragile item I've ever gotten! It would take a falling house, the Wicked Witch, and a few Flying Monkeys to crash down on the package to break the bottles inside!Compared to the prices of brands of soy sauces that are not the usual grocery store shelf brands, Pacific Island brand is quite reasonable, especially since it's the only one I've found that I am able to eat without health problems.Granted, a 3-bottle pack is going to last a very, very long time with just one person using it, but one of my sons has asked me to leave to him in my will whatever is left.

I wondered how this had so much less sodium content... then I tasted the sauce and realized it seemed watered down. Other brands for sale on Amazon, especially Best of Thailand, have nearly as little sodium, and offer a better taste. The glass bottles were packed in extensive bubble wrap that definitely made sure the bottles didn't break during shipment, but took a lot of effort to unwrap.

Bought this on a whim because I was looking for a soy-sauce type option with a little more depth and range of flavor. Bingo! My entire family uses this on everything from rice to chicken and fish...and anything with an Asian flavor profile just tastes better with a dash of this. Wish it was cheaper and more competitively priced with other soy sauces out there....but it's uniqueness and complexity compensate for the price.

Most that are low salt are just reduced a bit. This is Low and it tastes great and use it all the time.Had a bit of a problem with the first order, the bottles leaked during shipping. Supplier rushed out a new batch immediately.Highly recommend

Lower Sodium definitely but TASTE? Highly questionable. I’ve tried other low sodium Soy Sauces and this one does not make the grade. Gave a bottle to my Vegan neighbor and shealso didn’t find its flavor beneficial to any dish.

The bok choy shitake stir fry I made with this sauce was very flavorful and delicious! And I didn't feel sick from too much salt! Highly recommended. Arrived in perfect condition--well packed. Thrilled with this soy sauce!

It is hard to find low sodium soy sauce which we must use if we want oriental cuisine.This fills the bill. Great taste. Shipped quickly. On the more costly side, but not terribly expensive for what you get.Worth the money for the reduction in sodium.

I like the actual product BUT my first order (one of three) bottles was leaking. On my second order one of three bottles was broken! And guess what, no return and NO REFUND! VERY UNHAPPY. Even though this is a good substitute for soy sauce on KETO will not buy again.
