Trailworthy Telescoping Rod and Reel
Bought this rod an reel combo for my brother's birthday he loved it easy to leave in his suv and not take up room. When extended lock's into place nicely when done fold's down easily good action on the rod. Do Wish the handle on the reel is left or right adjustable but other then that Great Buy.

ITS NICE TO HAVE A POLE THAT YOU CAN COLLAPSE AND TAKE ANYWHERE WITH YOU. GOOD STRONG STURDY CONSTRUCTION. HAVE CAUGHT MANY FISH SINCE I ORDERED IT. WHEN YOU'RE DONE FISHING, SIMPLY COLLAPSE THE POLE AND YOU'RE READY TO GO ANYWHERE AND IT TAKES UP VERY LITTLE SPACE. GREAT BUY!

Trail colapseable spinnig rod with reel.
Neat set up for backpacking. Reel already had monofilament line. Wish it had a case.

Decent collapsible fishing rod
This is a decent fishing rod. The benefits: very light weight, collapsible, and easy to disassemble. The downside: you can tell it's not a very high quality rod. For me it will work, but it may not be for everyone.

You get what you pay for
You'd be better off spending $10 more on a better product. Very cheaply made...line is cheap, old, and kinky. Rod is OK but reel is poor quality. I bought 3 and one reel was faulty. I didn't bother going through the hassle and expense of shipping it back. Don't buy this, really.

Telescopic rod and reel set
Easy for the grandkids to pack to the fishing hole and they can set them up by their selves. Only had one that did any back lash and had to restring it.

Review of telescoping fishing rod.
This item is part of my camping and also my survival gear. It's small size belies it's capabilities. I've used it many times while camping. Haven't had any survival situations yet, but I believe this item will work quite well.

Is it Trailworthy.....
It's name is very misleading.When I bought it,it didn't work at all.I emailed the company and was refunded the cost and shipping and was then told to just keep it.I proceeded to take the reel apart.I found that the gears did not properly mesh and they were covered with burrs.I filed and sanded the burrs off and placed a spacer to allow the 2 gears to properly mesh.I now had a working reel.Next I found that the eye,next from the top of the telescoping rod was very loose.I crazy glued it and now have a working rod and reel.I don't recommend this set to anyone unless they are willing to do any necessary repairs to get a properly working rod and reel.
