Everbuild Everflex 200 Contractors LMA Silicone Sealant – Suitable for Interior and Exterior Use – Quick Curing – Waterproof – Transparent – 295ml

I had a couple of jobs that required clear/transparent Silicone, so I purchased a few of these.First job was to seal the front of a large plastic shed as there was water getting in through some very small gaps. The product filled the gaps with ease and had a good consistency to work with (albeit slightly more 'tacky' than I'm used to) which meant that it stuck to the plastic well.I applied the product on a warm, dry summers day but even at 24 deg c the Silicone still took around 4 hours to 'skin' over and a further 8-10 hours before it finally set, remember this was only a thin bead.Second job was to completely seal every 2ft sq pane of glass on the roof and upper sides of our 12ft greenhouse (recommended for greenhouses in higher wind locations). For this I set aside 5 tubes as I would be using an 8mm bead to securely hold each pane in place, the product was applied with ease and smoothing down was no problem. However, the skinning and eventual dry time were extreme taking around 8 hours and 30 hours respectfully. For this reason I have marked the product down to four stars as the drying time means you can only really use this when there is a good day or two of dry weather (depending on the bead size used).Even with the negative of an extended drying time, I would still recommend this product as once set it's as good as any other Silicone I've used and the price is extremely fair.

Excellent product not like other silicone’s which are very messy particularly on your hands, this stuff adheres well and any residue comes off your hands easily.

This silicone is very overpriced for what it is, which was made even worse value for money when I opened the box and the actual flexibility value is 12.5%, not the 30% pictured. If using this, just make sure whatever you're sealing up won't have much movement as 12.5% is very low for a silicone.It is very low viscosity, which means tooling up can be messy if you apply too much sealant as it'll spread it out. You also need to tool it up straight away as this silicone cures very fast and skins over in minutes. It does mean it is very easy to squeeze out of the tube with a silicone gun though.

Deliberately chose an Acetoxy cure sealant.Very happy with this. it seemed very easy to use but I suspect part of that is because it was transparent and didn't seem to make as much mess as coloured sealants. Will buy again.

I purchased this to seal arround the base of a green house I found it very easy to use and sticks well to both metal and concreat, it doesnt set straight away allowing time for smoothing the finish, when it goes off it does not go hard and can be removed for repairs, at this price it does the job at a fraction of anything else I could find

This sealant is excellent and works very well sticking things.

Great sealant, easy to use.

Good value for money and did the job perfectly. No more rain water coming into our utility room from the skylight!
