Let me just preface this by saying I never write Amazon reviews, but this product (the fully loaded Macgyver Ultimate kit) is completely amazing. The products inside are high quality, and you can tell that much thought was put into making each item have multiple survival uses. For instance, even the pencil sharpener is actually made of magnesium - so can be scraped to use as fire starting material. I'll admit, I'm in the beginning of putting together a bug out bag and taking wilderness survival courses to learn skills I never learned as a city kid, but this kit certainly is a great starting point for me to build off of. I love all the instructions they provide as well, specifically detailing the multiple uses of each item. Even with the fully loaded kit, there is still room to add stuff to the bag, like a small tube of toothpaste to go along with the toothbrush they provide. And a proper flashlight. Anyway, can't recommend this kit highly enough! Color me impressed!

I’ve been trying to buy this kit for 3 years. It always sold out. As soon as I saw it on Amazon, it was an instant buy.The build quality is great, the items it contains are useful. When your in a pinch, this kit will have a way out.

I was really excited to get this kit but now that I’ve been on a few trips and put some supplies to the test I’m not as excited. Sure it’s got gobs of stuff but the things you really need like a good knife or flashlight for instance it lacks. There is so much stuff I doubt you would really ever use and just not enough of the things you really need and much of it is just so small that it’s not so helpful anyway. So stick with the basics that you know you have to have..good knife, flashlight, fire starter and some fat wood , first aid kit, work gloves and some sort of emergency shelter, even some paracord and go from there. I promise you, you will never use most of this kit and I am super sorry to say it because I really thought it would be cool but I’m just mostly disappointed now

This has to be one of the coolest ,most useful high quality survival utility kit i have seen give or take a few other ones. Everything else usually is cheap worthless junk that might work for a few or couple times then your screwed . The main reason for this is people want to put out a survival kit for sale and their main goal is saving money and buying cheap or copies of the real deal gear and filling their kit with garbage from china. I would say 85% of the survival gear out there is the cheap garbage from china . Well this kit isnt so buy yourself one and your good to go if you ever need the stuff in it .

I probably won’t use *everything* in this kit, but it’s nice to have in the truck for off-road adventures for peace of mind. High quality equipment all around. I couldn’t believe how small the bag is when it arrived! It carries so much!

Lots of useful items for the creative person thinking on the go as well as a stockpile of staples for survival all around handy dandy pack to add to any preparedness planning.

Nicely put together. Just received and haven't used it yet, but I like having it around! Has room to add your own stuff and I have added a space pen, Buff neck gaitor, and upgraded Leatherman tool.
