Ive tried inserting them into my aquarium substrate and also separated to get some to sprout and they wont even sprout its been weeks with 0 results. Sadly. Half floated meaning they were duds and the other half sank and had no results.

Growing well!
It did not come with instructions, so I looked it up. Some advice was good, some...The first advice I found was to break the outer shell with a hammer. After 3 smashed seeds (no matter how careful I did it...), I followed another suggestion and used a utility knife to scratch up the shell, leaving the ends untouched (one of the videos suggested that damaging the end would kill it). I sanded the seed in a couple of places, making sure that I did not go too deep. The inner white part is what sprouts, so don't damage that.Put into water. One was floating - I read that it means that sees is no good - not true, it sprouted. The seeds will absorb water and expand several times and crack the shell - that is why the shell needs to be weakened, to allow water in and to help with the cracking process. One seed didn't expand - I took it out and scratched/sanded it more, put it back in and it was good. All seven that I sanded and scraped sprouted. The ones that I hammered were in pieces, so...Yes, do change the water - as they sprout, the water gets dirty.I waited until the stem was at least a few inches long and put into my 55 gallon which contains a very large pleco and a really big goldfish, both of whom love to tear plants apart, including a lotus that I got from Lowes which gets eaten every time it sends up a sprout. The plants seem fairly robust and my crazy fish have not been able to eat or damage the plants. Most of the stems have hit the water surface and now I'm waiting for the pods to unfurl. Some plants have several stems.I can't wait to see if it has flowers - in any event this plant seems to be as advertised.

No information on what to put it in and no information
It didn't have any instructions and didn't know if they need to be completely submerged or in small bowl

Nope
Seeds got here, followed video instructions on how to start seeds... ZERO results. Some of the seeds started to split open and you could see a bit of green inside but that was all that happened. No growth at all.

How to grow
Drill a hole on the pointed end of the seed till you see the meat of the nut. Leave in water till you see sprouts, let them grow till they have long stems before planting in ponds or water pots. DON'T give up on seeds, some take a few days others a month. I had only one sprout after a week, now after a month I have 9. Some just take a lot longer then others.

Seeds no show from Philippines?
I ordered these 6/22/2019 to arrive in a few weeks. Today 7/6/2020 I received a letter from US Department of Agriculture saying the seeds were confiscated in NY. The seeds were either infested or infected or not authorized entry. Too long ago to try and get the money back? From all the negative reviews they were not likely to grow.
