Shopkins Sweet Spot Playset

My daughter loves it

We have several shopkins sets, and this has been the favorite of both kids. They are age three, and the surprise of what will come out seems to appeal greatly. They also seem to like the little closing bags better than the open ones. They have a lot of fun and imaginative play with all the shopkins, so though pricey, they have been worth it. They are not into collecting, so it has been easy to fill the sets with enough characters.

This is a really cute shopkins set. It is a nice size for the price. The bubbles are like squinky ball cases. You can fit about two shopkins per bubble. If they are thinner ones then you could fit 3. The red post is a nice display piece. The shopkins fit tightly on it. The only complaint would be the display shelves on the left. Shopkins can easily fall through and that can lead to frustration depending on the age. The shopkins do need to be in a bubble to go through the gumball machine. They do fit through the turning device without a ball, but the machine jams and it would very easily lead to the turning knob to breaking if forced.

This has been a smash hit for my 2.5 yr old as a Christmas gift. Ever since she's been watching these little youtube videos of Shopkins surprise toys, I thought she should actually play with one and see that it's more fun to play than watch. She loves twisting the gumball machine and seeing the balls roll out. Whatever she can fit in those gumballs is fun for her too. Happy with this purchase.

Ok - I hate shopkins. They're all over my house on the floor and in cracks and crevices. But, my daughter loves them. When searching for a Shopkins toy that she didn't have already or that I wouldn't find all over my house, I found this. You can put the shopkins in those little "gum balls" and they come out. You can use other Shopkins you already have. She has fun surprising her friends on choosing a surprise Shopkins from the machine. My only critique is that then gumball machine is attached to shelves making for awkward storage. I wish it was just a Shopkins gumball machine.

But my 4 year old is.... she opened this toy up and played happily for over an hour. And I'll admit, this set is cute. Bigger than I expected. Lots of space to display Shopkins (make sure to buy a couple packs if you don't already have them) and the gumball machine is adorable. Oddly, the cart in my toy is not the same as the one pictured on the box it came in but not a major concern.
