Spectacular Results
Since the pandemic, I've not been able to use my local makerspace which had a laser cutter. Laser cutting acrylic gets very smooth lines but I was also a little concerned at burning the plastic more than necessary. Combine those concerns, and cutting with a CNC at home was an obvious alternative. I thought $40 was very expensive for a cutting bit, but so far it's performed extremely well. After sanding it's possible to get smooth crystal clear edges.Also... on only the second or third use, I accidentally dropped the bit on the cement floor. I don't think the cutting side is what hit the floor, but in most cases, this would've broken a carbide bit. I picked it up and it looked totally fine! I can't say for sure if i'm endorsing for amana's rainbow tool hardening, but if I am, it sure worked.

Great cutting ability
Great bit for small detail work. But bit is super fragile and broke before I could finish my first project.First bit came broken company quickly sent replacement.

It Will break, it’s just a matter of when
I’m an experienced CNC operator with a very rigid machine. I ran this bit at a depth of .125” at 60IPM, 18000rpms. It made good cuts for a total of 6-8 hours of total use then it snapped. The longest cutting time I ran it with was about 45 minutes. I followed the recommended cutting guidelines but this bit is just too small to last. I’d recommend the Onsrud 52-703 as a better option

Worked excellent on cast acrylic
I have only used this for cutting cast acrylic cnc vacuum attachments so far. however, it has done a perfect job every time. It cut fast, and, was as smooth as butter. I was completely satisfied with the finish after words as well. I had no chipping or hairline cracks at all. As far as tool life goes, I can't really say yet. Although it doesn't feel like it lost any of its sharpness. And, I have cut over 30 sets of these now. So, it is safe to say that once this one wears out, I'll be buying it again.

Works great, but super delicate
I was an idiot. I made one test cut with it, and was so blown away by the quality of the cut, I completely lost my mind -- because I forgot to lower the router before moving the fence and the fence broke the bit off. Nothing was spinning, I was just a moron and was distracted by the quality of the results (which was a perfect satin finish on 1/4" cast acrylic after a single pass). Now I am sad every time I look at this bit in my collection. I can't even bring myself to throw it away. I will replace it one day, hopefully.

This bit works great on plastics!
I really love how this bit cuts aluminum composite material and acrylic. I had to slow down my feeds and speeds on the acrylic but it still cut great. I consider the spiral 'O' single flutes as a semi-finishing bit only because they don't seem to produce the correct final size unless I do 3 or 4 passes, each getting closer to the correct size. I usually just do one pass with the spiral 'O' single flute and then another pass with a double flute flat bit which give me the correct finishing cut size. These bits also leave a smooth finish on the side edges of the material.

This is what you need to cut holes in plastic
Tried quite a few bits before I bit the bullet and bought this. Used a Bob's cnc 4 to cut holes in pvc for rgb lights. Cannot believe people are still using stepped shank drills to cut holes . This bit will reduce the stress on your machine and reduce the amount of torque the workpiece sees. You will not have to keep adjusting the workpiece for accurate cuts. Cut 50 holes in 14 minutes . Will switch to J channel for next year. The process will be orders of magnitude faster with this bit. Btw one bit cut over 3000 holes before I noticed plastic burrs.
