CAD Audio Stage4 4-Piece Drum Mic Pack - Includes Kick Mic, Snare Mic and 2 Tom Mics

I used this set on March 11, 2016 for the Mike Zito and the Wheel show I produced and also did sound for. I have another set of Audix FP4 mics but wanted a newer set than what I had and wanted to try the CAD set on recommendation of a friend of mine. They are built like a set that costs 3 times as much. The kick mic is approx the size and weight of a Shure Beta 52. The others are a nice compact size and mount quickly on the drum head ring. All the mics sounded wonderful that night. The kick mic is very accurate and supplies plenty of punch. I run a Peavey Kosmos on the kick channel to clarify and add sub-harmonics to the kick signal after the gate. It took very little to liven up the kick. The snare and tom mics are pretty much on it too with just a slight upper mid range boost curve around 4k but was corrected with the drum mix eq. The drum mix came through loud and clear without a hitch.All-in-all I guess for the price, construction and sound these are a great choice for your sound system. That night was a small to medium room around 200-225 people and I used 2 large custom 18" sub cabs and 2 Peavey SP5 BX's for the front sound and all Yamaha BR M12 stage monitors run with various Peavey CS amps.

Hard to beat these for the money. I have better sounding mics, but not at this price point.Are they Shure Betas? No, but they preform well.

This weekend i try'd all my 11 CAD Audio Stage witch a 7 CAD Audio Stage Premium and a 4 CAD Audio stage, and my 2 time 6 pack microphone cables, The sound of the microphones sound ausome couldn't ask for more it was just what i was looking for, i would recomanded thise to all my fellow friend's drummer anytime, Great price and great sound.

Not quite as nice as an SM57, but these mics get the job done. I tweaked them a bit with a WAVES plug in and it sounds great. The one con is the fact that they have to clip to the drum (except the bass drum mic) and cannot be put on a mic stand, but so far that has worked with no issues. Really glad I got these and didn't spend a ton of money.

Used this in a club gig last night and they really shone. Our drum setup only has 2 toms so this set is just perfect.The sound quality and overal output from these is nice and full. Had no problems with feedback either. Kick drum mic gives that nice deep kick sound. Snare mic gives a good full forward sounding snare sound. A little tweaking at the mixer and you're good to go.Buy with confidence.

Wow! For the price the quality surpassed expectations, comes with a padded case and distinct cutouts for each well labeled mic. A fine little kit.

Clips are cheap, had to duct tape them to the hoops to keep them tight. Used these one gig, then purchased the Shure package with 3 sm57 mics and the Beta 52A for the kick. Cost 3 times as much but the mic clamps that come in the Shure are worth the money alone. Sold these on another site for 60 bucks. If you have the cash buy the Shure's.

Bought this for my husband who is a drummer.He loves these microphones.
