VivaChoose-A-Sheet* Paper Towels White 58 Sheets (Pack of 6)

It seems like there is a premium version of every household product these days. Raw organic dog food, heated toilet seats, that brand name boar bristle hair brush, Norwex dust cloths, diamond-encrusted electric toothbrushes with 13 modes and a tongue massager… We splurge on some of these and on others we definitely don’t. One of our splurges? These paper towels.I purchased them for the first time in 2012 on a whim. I had no idea you could fall so hard for paper towels and immediately became a loyal customer. Fast forward 6 years and we’re now a family of 5 plus dog, and we go through a crazy number of paper towels. As a result, it got harder to justify the higher price and, over the years, I’ve occasionally tried going back to a cheaper brand. I regretted it every time.Here’s a little cost-benefit breakdown on these paper towels for others who struggle with the higher price point like I did:- Baby’s face covered in pureed peas? 1 sheet.- Baby who loves getting his face cleaned with these super soft paper towels? Priceless.- Toddler gallops through the kitchen with a runny nose? 1 sheet.- Quickly grabbing a paper towel gentle enough for his nose, rather than running for a tissue while toddler spreads cold germs to siblings? Priceless.- Any one of our four dependents has an accident on the floor? No one’s counting sheets here.- Thick, durable paper towels providing an effective barrier between my hands and bodily fluids? Priceless.- Husband spills his humungous bottle of craft beer (again)? 6 sheets (seriously, these bottles are huge).- Sticky mess quickly averted with highly absorbent paper towels and marital bliss restored? Priceless.- Sitting down for family dinner and need napkins? 5 sheets.- Not buying paper napkins? Legitimate cost savings!Ok, I’m not necessarily saying these premium paper towels will save you money, but they can absolutely save your sanity. The fact that they’re softer and thicker than most paper towels makes them our go-to paper product for just about everything. One thing they’re not great at? As other reviewers have mentioned, they leave lint on glass and other surfaces you polish. I’ve also found that because they’re really absorbent, they tend to soak up a lot of cleaning product rather than spread it around. For those jobs? See the aforementioned Norwex cloths (thanks, Mom!).

This is my favorite paper towel of all the ones I've used.We're trying to reduce the amount of trash we produce in our household, so cutting down on paper towels is one of the steps we're taking. I love these paper towels because they are SO LUXE and high quality. They are strong and soft and have high absorbing powers. I find that I have to use less because they absorb so well. I am also able to wring them out in water and reuse them because they hold up in water so well. They are strong like cloth and also soft against skin.Each roll comes with 90 sheets and they last me quite a long time. I can go over a month on one roll. I am being extra conservative, but these are great quality.NOTE: Like some other reviewers have mentioned, there is some fuzz that leaves a white fuzz residue. I don't use this paper towel to clean windows or mirrors because it leaves a trail. Not much, but it's there. I use it to tackle tough cleanups and spills. If I want perfect windows and mirrors, I use a lint-free towel. If you keep this in mind, you won't be disappointed with these towels.

Even though these towels are pricey, you get what you pay for. They're highly absorbent and unbelievably soft. I wish I could do a TV commercial for Viva to show they can even take the place for kleenex when need arises-with no residual lint in contact lenses after the fact-lol. I have been buying these towels through Amazon subscription for well over a year and have never regretted it. Because of it's strength, you can rinse, wring out and use again to finish the cleaning task at hand. It has yet to disintegrate under water or in my hand. I downgraded from monthly delivery to every 3 months because I didn't need to go through as many as I did with cheaper brands, saving me more money in the long run. At one point, I started to save used sheets to use over again but ran out of counter space. I have in-house quality testers who love the softness and durability as well. My cats thought it a personal challenge to their claws so now I have to store above counter height. Viva one, cats zero- they never were able to get all the way through. Now if I can only find toilet paper they can't claw through as well-lol.

Absorbs really well.

VIVA Original is amazing. I say “original” bc there are two types. The original is the one w/o the pattern and it works wonders. I have OCD when it comes to cleaning: I’m the type of person that everyone remarks on having the cleanest house (as well as best smelling😉). In the past I’ve always purchased name brand paper towels and tried these by chance. I was hooked once I did! They are amazing! Ppl complain about them being so difficult to get off~ they are not. You just need to hold one piece and tear off. Another complained of loads of lint.I can tell you from using this product for over 6 yrs that this has far less lint than other paper towels on the market. AND let’s be fair, the person who posted the feedback had cleaned the metal/iron on her stove. I think all us real cleaners know that you don’t do that as it will leave a residue: that is “user error” not the products fault!The only downside to the product is that Amazon does have it on the pricey side. My local Walmart has it for WAY cheaper. No more Subscribe n Save on this. If they want to keep ppl on this plan they need to re-evaluate their prices on a lot of their items.

Really like these paper towels & they truly live up to their Viva description. Stocked up when I'd be in the U.S & they last for several months as I usually buy 3 large bags. Also recently found them on Amazon.ca, saving a trip over the border.

Love these paper towels for watercolour painting! You can remove colour and not leave a patterned imprint. They are very absorbent and do not fray or fall apart when wet.
