1st Time Hanna and Online Buyer
As a first time Hanna customer as well as an online buyer from Amazon, I must say ,no complaints here...the shipping was fast, packaging was crisp and new and the instrument has well met it's expectations....the only thing that disappointed me was it doesn't measure in ppm...only ppt, which was not correctly specified...otherwise I use it everyday and it's fast and accurate and has not let me down yet...thx hanna & Amazon......

DEFECTIVE
seems like a lot of folks are receiving faulty/defective meters. Ppm worked fine, pH has a mind of its own. Tested alkaline water at exactly 7.0, tested the buffer solution at 7.01, same ambient and solution temp, not that it should matter since the meter co. claims the meter compensates for the temp. Anyway, took 3 different readings, seconds apart, got 3 different pH readings. Even if calibration is needed it shouldn't give off different readings so close together under same environment. Meter came with a certificate indicating it was calibrated prior to shipping.Absolutely unacceptable! I grow medicinal in CA and the garden is ruined! stick with strips for pH at least they don't fail. Now I'm starting to question the ppm meter as well since all the plants showed burn at barely 400ppm solution in RO.
