This comes with a little bubble remover spreader which I didn't see until after the protector was installed. The protector that comes on the Mega 8K S is actually slightly smaller than the screen, so any spills on the edge can get under the glass. This one is larger all the way around so that can't happen. The thickness is just right so I didn't even have to relevel. The clarity is great. No complaints.

A definite "must have" with resin printers. Can prevent ruining your printer.

I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the edges that align with the holes for the vat doesn’t have as much adhesion on it as the center of it. It fits just right with my Photon 2

I ordered this screen protector because it was advertised specifically for the Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K / 8KS. Since the listing clearly stated compatibility with the 8KS, I expected it to match the factory-installed screen protector dimensions. When I went to install it, I immediately noticed it was oversized — approximately 10 mm too large on one side and about 7.5 mm too large on the other compared to the original factory protector. I carefully placed it down to test the fit, and that’s when it became obvious it would not fit properly. When I removed it, one protector was essentially wasted in the process. The seller offers different sizes for various popular 3D printers, so it’s reasonable to assume that a product labeled “Sonic Mini 8K / 8KS” would be pre-cut to the correct dimensions. Nowhere in the listing does it state that trimming is required. After manually trimming the protector myself, I was able to install it, but I was very disappointed that it was not properly sized as advertised. If you purchase this, be prepared to measure and trim it yourself. I’m giving it a three star because it was reasonably priced. Installation was a little difficult because the tool to remove the bubbles was wider than the screensaver so it didn’t lie flat and I couldn’t get the bubbles out at the side edges, worked fine getting the bubbles out from the top and bottom. I recommend they sell a screensaver that matches the printer specs and also a narrower tool to remove the bubbles.

Having recently started using screen protectors on our 3 year old Mars 2 Pro, we figured it'd be best to go ahead and use them on our newest printer also. These have worked out well so far, and haven't effected prints, either negatively or positively. It's more of a pieces of mind item, and just lessens the problems in the event of a FEP rupture. We have only had 1 so far, and while it wasn't catastrophic, it was still enough of a pain to clean the resin off the screen that we definitely do not want to do it again. The one we've used so far applied easily with no bubbles. It did catch a couple bits of dust, but they were able to be smoothed down and haven't made any impact on anything yet. This fit perfectly, and has had no sign of lifting, even after a few IPA wipe downs. We highly recommend these for the S4U, and any other printer you can get them forr
