New Headway: Elementary Third Edition: Workbook (With Key) (Headway ELT)

The book itself is very good. Great resource materials and good practice exercises. Only 4 stars as a few pages had pencil marks and due to the nature of the shiny pages, impossible to rub out completely.

These series of Headway books have been on for a while and I am happy that they still do well for teaching and learning English at any level. I love the Elementary version as it takes students smoothly to achieve in their learning. It makes the work a bit easier to the teacher. Definetely, I would recomend it!!

This series has been a teaching friend of mine over many years. I have found that students who apply themselves conscientiously succeed well when using the materials.

Headway, both the Student's book and the accompanying Workbook are first class when you wish to teach complete beginners. After an initial explanation of the format of each book for the student (since the books are only in the language being taught), the student is ready to begin.they find the design of the book both interesting and challenging as it covers all the 4 areas of learning: comprehension, reading, speaking and writing.
