Perfect fit on my small headed quarter horse.
Soft & supple leather/material. Good price. Fit well. We're not professional english riders, just needed something for a few classes. This fit the bill.

Big
I put this in a walker mare I had and it was all the way to the smallest holes, it's too big for paint mare who's 15hh. Nice bridle next time I'll order a cob size.

It's a good piece of entry-level ya k
I bought this bridle because I needed a black English bridle to present a mare at a warmblood inspection and I couldn't find anything locally... The bridle filled the requirements..... At this price point it is exactly what one would expect but very functional.... Not the best leather but I will say I have owned this brand before and I do believe the child that used it used it for a few years of 4-H before upgrading.... it was a perfect grab me on short notice item.... not something I would expect to last and look new for the Long Haul nor should you for a bridle at this price point. I was very satisfied and would recommend for someone wanting to try a class or two needing a black bridle, entry level riders in need of a cheap get me by until I get a better one, or someone in a pinch that doesn't want to spend a fortune under the understanding that is not a piece of equipment that would withstand daily prolonged use for years like it's expensive counterparts...

i like it
when i first opened it, it felt cheap and rubbery and kinda rubbed off on me, but the more i used it, the better it got. the reins are kinda long for me bc i ordered it pony size for my brother and his ponies but besides that, it gets the job done and looks fine. if u have the money tho i recommend buying from dover or a more quality brand.

cob size was bigger than expected
A very nice bridle and reins for the price. I found that when i shortened the cheek pieces enough to fit my 13.2 hand cob, the brow band didn't sit right. I'm keeping it to use for schooling, but will look for another one that fits a bit better for the show ring. It may be that I just need to get a pony size for my cob, but wanted to let people know it ran a bit big, at least for my welsh cob.

but sturdy, for starting a young one
I bought these for starting a young pony. I was looking for something inexpensive, but sturdy, for starting a young one. I conditioned it a little more when I set it up, added a snaffle bit & adjusted it for the pony. It's not a top quality, heavy duty bridle, it is about what I expected for the price. it is a bit stiff, but working it, should soften it a bit. I've only used it a few times, so time will tell on how long it lasts & how much it softens.

Doesn’t adjust small enough without punching extra holes
We like how it is made. It did not adjust small enough for our 11 hand pony, so we punched some extra holes. The throat latch cannot get any smaller due to the way it is made.

Does Not Include Bit
Its a decent bridle. A little stiff, needed a good cleaning and oiling, even brand new.The listing says that it came with a snaffle bit, and I was expecting one.It arrived bitless. I checked the description carefully, at the very bottom in fine print it says it does not include a snaffle. I am quite annoyed at this, as I have to order a snaffle bit separately now and cannot use this bridle until it arrives. Please be more clear in the product listinf whether or not it has a bit included.

NOT SILVER FOX - BRANDED 'TOUGH 1'
The colour varies on the different straps - the browband doesn't match the headpiece
