Got this to replace my RAT5 that cost close to a £100 5 years ago and has started playing up, the cursor would have a mind of its own. I really got this just to test my system but so pleased with its looks and ease of use I have decided to use this full time. Makes sense as being wireless I can use anywhere in the lounge and my home built media centre running Media Portal often requires the mouse to correct accidental remote inputs. It is so nice to look at and even the micro small USB receiver looks good in the PC, see photographs. I tried it internally first but it lost reception, hardly suprising being buried in the steel PC case so plugged externally and it works great. The batteries both go in the same direction and NOT top and tail as usual, this means that if one battery fails the mouse will still run on one. Great value and honestly feels and looks like five times the price. Very happy and with prime it came the next day.tj

Only just received this item but so far so good.I put in two AAA batteries, plugged in the tiny USB dongle, switched on the mouse and everything worked first time. Apparently it will work off a single battery if that's all you've got.I'm using a Lenovo Z50 running Windows 10.The button action is nice, a softer click than usual, not silent but pretty quiet.The mouse wheel works nicely and also acts as the third button too.There is also a button to cycle through the sensitivity of the mouse. i.e. to make the mouse cursor move faster or slower.Looks nice next to my white Lenovo.I will update the review when I've had a few weeks to see how the battery life is and how durable the mouse itself is.Update: It's now 16th April 2019 and the mouse is still lovely. I haven't needed to change batteries even though I use the mouse every day - the mouse goes to sleep very quickly and needs a click to wake it up, I'm guessing that's why the batteries are lasting so well. Still very happy with the purchase and with the 5 star review.Update: It's now 11th October 2019 - I'm still on the same set of batteries that I started with so that's great. Not so great is the fact that the mouse wheel is no longer working properly, scrolling using the mouse wheel causes the document to jump around with the direction of the wheel bearing no relation to the direction that the document actually scrolls. As a software developer I really need to be able to scroll around my code accurately and quickly and, unfortunately, I can no longer do this. Deducting one star for this failure.

I have had this mouse for a month now and I must say for the price it is very good value for money. Nice weight, not heavy or overly light. It is comfortable to use that does not create any aches or pains and with the added on/off switch it saves on battery use.EDIT - August 2019 - Having had the mouse for 5 months now my opinion has greatly changed. The main body of the mouse is made of aluminium and a soft aluminium at that. The upper panel with the right and left clickers is made of a thin plastic. While is it comfortable to use it is not at all robust and is likely to get damaged very easily. I accidentally knocked if from the arm of my chair onto the wooden floor, a distance of just 18 inches, which resulted in the upper leading aluminium edge of the mouse to fold inwards stopping the right/left clickers from working. If a simple knock to fall a short distance of 18 inches is enough to cause so much damage then it is worth double checking if this product is for you if you have children, pets or wooden/hard floors as the mouse will not survive.

Really accurate and smooth movement of the cursor. Looks great. USB connection can be stored inside to prevent it getting lost or knocked when transporting the laptop. Also, the USB connection is white so I don't mix it up with similar sized black memory sticks.A FEW DAYS LATER. Everything I said above is true but I have to agree with a previous reviewer who commented on its fragility. It dropped a couple of feet off the table and is now completely useless. Really disappointing because I thoroughly liked this mouse.A FEW MONTHS LATER. In fact, I liked it so much I bought another despite its fragility. I kept it for several months until I got a new laptop and then took it out of the box to find it didn't work at all! Of course, it was then too late to return it. So, if all you are interested in is what it looks like, go ahead and buy it. Just have a different one handy to work with!!!!

my parents purchased a new laptop for me when i returned home from major brain surgery and i wanted a new mouse as my laptop is white so i got a white mouse to go with it , i am very happy with the quality and price

I was looking for a mouse because my trackpad went haywire on my Macbook. I needed a quick fix and ordered this mouse because it was cheap and offered one day delivery. I ordered it Friday evening and it arrived Saturday morning! I really wasn't expecting much as it was only £11.99 but I thought if it gets me through the weekend I'll consider it money well spent. Fast forward 3 weeks and I can't believe I didn't own one before. It's very comfortable and responsive - possibly one of the nicest mouses I've ever used. You just plug in the USB thingy and away it goes. I wish I'd not spent years struggling with a trackpad. It's a long time since I've been really surprised by a product that was relatively cheap. It doesn't feel, look or operate cheap. My girlfriend says, "Are you still going on about that mouse?", and I say "Yes - it's a great mouse!".

Fantastic value, great little product, great quality and well made. Easy to change dots per inch / resolution by using the top button. Battery life so far so good (used now for about six weeks). It feels like a metal body rather than cheap plastic. Wireless easy to use. Scroll wheel also comfortable and easy to use. It has a sleep function that wakes up with a click. Why pay more when you can get this.
