Montana Madeira I Bird Cage - Metal Wire in an Antique Style with Avilon Powder Coating

Lovely big cage. Very sturdy and easy to put together. I did it by myself in about 40 minutes. The assembly instructions were easy for me to follow. The hardest part was lifting the completed cage onto the stand on my own - it’s quite heavy!It came a day earlier than expected and was well packaged.I have one cockatiel in it at the moment and will be getting another soon. There’s plenty of room for 2 cockatiels and the bars are perfectly spaced for a bird of this size.It comes with 4 stainless steel pots which are easy to keep clean. It also has a grille for the floor, but I hate these as they get covered in poop and are a nightmare to clean. I prefer to use bird sand in the tray so they can run about in it.There is also an attachment which you fit on the front when the tray has been inserted. This finishes off the look of the cage as well as preventing the tray from being pushed out by the bird and allowing it to escape - a cockatiel couldn’t do this but a bigger parrot might be able to!You will need to buy additional perches as it only comes with one large perch for inside the cage and another smaller one to hold the top of the cage open (as shown in the picture).Very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend this cage for a small parrot or parakeet.As a parrot owner, I think the bar spacing would be too small for a large macaw or cockatoo, as it would be difficult for them to use their beaks to climb around the cage. My parrot cage has larger bar spacing than this one.
