Didn’t fit

Just got it. Works well in my old 4" Schmidt-Cassegrain. It has a wider field of view than my existing 30mm eyepiece, and so far has good image quality.

Considering the price, the quality is excellent. And the eye relief is wonderful.

I got this eye piece to upgrade from the cheap 25mm that came with my telescope. There is definitely a difference from my old one as this one produces a clearer, crisper image. It feels nice and solid and well constructed. It has a rubber ring in the middle which is just for grip but otherwise doesn't turn.I was able to screw 1.25" filters into it no problem, which was great because the threads from my old eye piece were bad and the filter would just fall out.While it's not a high end eye piece, it certainly is an upgrade from what I had before.

This is a great first upgrade, if you've just bought a new telescope. Telescopes usually come with a generic 25mm eyepiece. I'd recommend this item, to be bought, just to replace the 25mm that comes with the scope. It sounds silly, to buy an eyepiece at the same focal length as you already have, but you won't be disappointed, as the difference is night & day. The pictures show this eyepiece, next to one you normally get included with your telescope. The elements are wider, and the FOV is hugely different. I can't remember if the element edges come blackened or not, as I blacken them myself, with a permanent marker, if they don't come with black edges. In any case, this is a great upgrade, especially if you're on a budget.

Diese vergütete Linse, hat neben der Brennweite, den Vorteileiner klareren Sicht, auf die Mondoberfläche.Natürlich lassen sich auch andere Objekte, gut damit erforschen.Aber zurzeit ist es nur der Mond, den wir von hier erreichen können.Die allgemeine Lichtverschmutzung macht das beobachten vonSternenkonstellationen, immer schwieriger.Da hilft es nur, mit besserer Technik nachzurüsten.Das 40 Grad Weitwinkel Okular, ist Hilfreich besonders kleineObjekte, erst einmal Einzumessen, bevor man zur nächsten undgrößeren Brennweite greift.Das erspart einem das suchen bestimmter Sterne usw., ganz enorm.Passt sehr gut.Gute Optik.Keine Reflexionen.Klare Empfehlung.
