Pretty Cool Knife.
Nice looking knife. The finish on the blade isn't as smooth as it looks in the pictures. There are a lot of machine marks that make the blade look cheap to me. The knife came out of the box sharp enough to shave with. Although the grind on the edge is not even on both sides.I don't like to carry knives inside my waist line, which is how the sheath is designed. I made a custom sheath that make the knife easier to carry for me. I have several Boker Plus knives and I really enjoy them. I just wish they would put more into their sheaths and quality assurance. For the most part this is a pretty nice knife, especially for the price.

Good knife, worthless sheath.
First, the sheath. Supposedly this sheath was designed for IWB (Inside the Waist Band Carry)- let me be very clear that this is NOT the case. At best, the sheath is designed for inside the belt carry. Big difference. This sheath is the most poorly designed sheath I've ever seen. It is absolutely ass backwards. Maybe it's set up for a lefty, I couldn't tell you because whoever designed this sheath completely missed the mark. The blade is nice. Good steel. It arrived dull.I'll keep it because it would be more of a pain to return it. Ugh.

Great knife, took an edge well
Great knife, took an edge well. The two complaints, such as they are, it did not come sharpened and the sheath does not fit well.

Not Quite Finished?
I received my TUF knife yesterday and was disappointed that the wooden scales looked unfinished and didn't mesh well with the knife's tang. The tang protrudes past the scales and is not smoothed at all and would cause problems with use I think. I've provided pictures to show and the difference between what I got and what the picture shows here and is quite different. I think I'll try to fix it myself rather than send it back, not sure right now. The sheath was a little scratched up too, other than that, it's an OK knife.

Top quality for the money
This is a nice knife good for momma. Sharp, attractive not too heavy nice for her to take camping to feed the troops.

Classic Boker fail
Let's just skip right over the foolish sheath and go straight to the blade. Like other reviews, the scales are nothing like the picture that shows the wood perfectly matches the tang of the knife. They don't!! They look like they were made for a different knife. They are much smaller than the tang. Not really a big deal by itself. Add in the fact that the grind is so far off to one side that there is almost no grind on one side and this becomes a complete waste of money. If the grind was just a little bit more off center, this would have been a chisel grind. I have bought 10$ M-Tech knives that put this Boker knife to shame both in blade quality and sheath design. After seeing such a incompetent level of quality control and poor sheath design in this knife, I don't think I would ever trust Boker enough to buy one of their products again.

functional for sure
Nicely finished.. but an uneven grind. After fixing that though it will be a great knife. Check out the sheath on you tube before buying. It has an odd velcro thing...
