I'll try to keep this review short and sweet. My last phone before it broke was the Moto G (gen 1), only had 1 GB ram and 8 GB internal storage with NO SD card slot, which was extremely odd. This phone, which is the fourth generation of Moto G, upgrades everything about the old phone. 2 GB RAM, slightly faster CPU and GPU, 16 GB internal storage WITH an SD card slot, and an actual removable battery, which is a must with all phones in case you need to do a hard reset in case none of your buttons are responding. It's much faster than the old Moto G, the screen feels much bigger although I think it's only half an inch or an inch bigger. Picture quality is good and so is the camera quality at 8 MP (front).I got this for $62 (not including shipping) which was the cost for my old Moto G, so for the price it's definitely worth it. Is it the best phone on the market? Absolutely not, but for the price you pay (or what I paid for in case the price goes up in the future), it's extremely worth it for a good pre-paid phone. The ONLY complaint I have about this phone, is it started downloading 102 MB of system updates while I was using the 4G data instead of Wifi, which is no big deal for me personally, since I don't use that much data in the first place, but that may not be the case with some people so if you use a lot of data, make sure that you're over Wifi for the first couple of hours you activate the phoneThe old Moto G(1) was 3G speeds, while this one is 4G, if you're switching from 3G to 4G, it's surprisingly easy to do. You can also keep the same plan you currently have, just go to My Verizon, login, change device, enter phone ID (on the bottom of the box, it's the IMEI number) and then it'll ask for the SIM Card number (ICCID on the side of the box). Then it'll tell you to put in the battery and turn it on and then it'll activate.Edit: I am no longer using this phone. After about a month of using it, it for some odd reason kept resetting (NOT factory resetting, just turning off and back on). I tried factory resetting it and booting it into safe mode etc etc, so I switched to the Galaxy Note 4.I'm still leaving this review at 5 stars, because for the time it worked, it worked well and smooth. Also because some people I do know that have this phone have not had the problem I have, so it seems like it's just a very uncommon problem.

Great phone Awesome price
After 5 years my gen 1 motog Gave up it's ghost. it was such A great phone that I wanted to replace it with A like model. I am very pleased with this gen4 moto g play the screen is A little larger than the gen 1 but just as vivid, colors are great and the phone functions as it should. Battery life is really good I don't have to plug in but every 3 or 4 days (with moderate use). I really like the fact that you can add A cf card and the battery is replaceable unlike the gen 1. My only real disappointment in this phone is all the bloatware pre installed but for 46 bucks I can live with it. Transferring my prepaid account with verizon to this phone was seamless took all of 10 mins and the phone was active. Highly recommend this phone to anyone looking for A good basic smartphone.

Great phone...
Great phone that works well. It not a gaming phone however is a great daily phone for email, text, phone calls, internet... This phone is prepaid however, if you have an account already simply remove your verizon sim card that's in your current phone and insert into the Moto G Play and turn on. This phone is very inexpensive and has a lot to offer. I purchased it so I could have a phone this summer while out mowing, biking, and running and if I harmed it then its easily replaceable. I currently have a Samsung S7 edge and navigate on the Moto G play just fine. This phone has a removable battery as well as up-gradable storage. This phone does not overheat and has zero issues. If you plan to game then I wouId recommend a more premium phone. This phone is great for daily phone use. I also like its smaller size but again, I am use to my S7 edge. Anyways, great phone that I can highly recommend if you want a smaller, less expensive, or a truer stock of android. Its a steal at its current price.

Motorola Is The Best !!
Compared it to the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the HTC One M8. The Motorola gets WAY better reception than the others and the battery lasts for days and days. I use it to stream music while driving and it works perfectly. The Samsung had noticeably poor reception dropping to 3G while the Motorola always maintains 4G. The call signal is always strong and clear on both ends. The HTC had a design defect where the microphone was located too close to the speaker causing a feedback loop and squeal on the receiving end of the call. The Motorola was only $49 and the other two were in the $175 range. My first cell phone was a Motorola Star Tac. Greatest phone of its day! Motorola Rocks!

I've never seen a nicer prepaid phone for a better price than this one
I've never seen a nicer prepaid phone for a better price than this one. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough, but I honestly don't care whether I am or not because this phone is excellent! I upgraded from the first-generation Moto G, which I had for three years and loved, and this phone retains just about everything I liked about the original Moto G and builds upon it. The only complaints I can think of are that, unlike my old Moto G, there is no blinking LED notification when the phone is in sleep mode (at least, if there is one, I haven't found it or got it working yet), and the speakers and sound quality aren't the best (but that's why the world blessed us with headphones). Other than those small things, The Moto G4 Play is everything I want in a phone. It looks sleek. It's fast. The option of expandable storage is fantastic! The camera quality is great. The screen size is pretty much perfect. The removable battery is nice. The weight of the phone is just right. You're probably getting sick of my adjectives, so I'll wrap this up, but I think you get the picture. This phone is wonderful, and I'm very happy with it!

Excelente
