The product is as described. The material is soft and fits pretty well over the top of the door. The velcro secures the product well. If you need something to totally block out the sun, you can't beat the quality of this product when comparing cost. I have 2 critiques.1) The material isn't as great a form fit as I would like. What I mean is that there are too many waves in it, so it looks a little weird on the window. It's not as tight over the window as I would like.2) The mesh design, while great for blocking the sun, isn't the best for looking out the window. My kids describe feeling dizzy if they look out the windows too long. If there were some way to change the design so it looking out would be more clear, that would be great.That being said, This really is a great product for blocking out the sun and is great on trips. And you can't beat the price.

Wife and I both have privacy windows with our vehicles. However that only darkens and does nothing for the hot Texas summer UV heat in the car/SAV. We have had these a week, her car is a Hyundai Ioniq, installed on the back passenger windows on both vehicles. Although, not as aesthetic as a more expensive "Window Tint" option. These provide excellent sun blockage and fit the cars window well enough. For myself, they are a little difficult to see thru from the inside while driving and that is very close to the natural blind spot of the vehicle. That said, we were also worried about the 80 MPH and the "flapping" that other customers mentioned in their reviews. We have zero issues at higher speeds, no flapping, and the durability is great thus far. Recommended.

I purchased these to shade the back seat of my 2009 Toyota Prius for a 3 hour road trip in July in Arizona. One of my dogs has black fur and the other one is a giant fluff ball, these kept them more comfortable heat-wise than past trips without shades. I would say it helped out the AC a bit as well since it was keeping sun out of part of the car. I did test out rolling down the windows while they are on and that is a really nice feature, unfortunately it was too hot to actually make use of that that this time around.They are easy to install but there are a couple of caveats that keep this from five stars from me. The most minor one is that they didn't lay flat on the outside of the window so they were flapping away a bit. The second was that the adhesive on the hook/rough side of the velcro seemed a little weak, maybe keeping it on there for a few hours before attaching the soft side would have helped it set. The biggest issue though is that it is really difficult to see through for lane changes, my car has enough blind spots as it is. Luckily, it is easier to keep track of everyone around you on a 1-2 lane desert highway but I would not suggest this for city driving.In short, it worked for what I bought it for. You should probably stick the velcro on your car a day or two before you plan to use the shades. Measure your doors and make sure you are buying the correct size. Finally, be aware that it is difficult to see the cars next to you and use your best judgement if and when you should use these.

I love the concept. The Velcro does not stay on my car at all. I cleaned my car with alcohol prior to installation and let sit for about five minutes so it could dry. The Velcro stays only when it isn't warm outside. If it is cool it stays pretty well.As far as the shade it provides...as advertised. Absolutely wonderful. I sit in my car at lunch and eat. It allows me to have my Windows down and enjoy the breeze.I'm currently looking for some better sticking rough Velcro I can use with these. Every time I go to pull them off my car gently...the whole thing comes off.

I received this item three days ago. It is light, very soft and smooth.I live in the Auburn, the sweet home Alabama. The weather is good all the year round, warm and never too dry. The only thing makes me uncomfortable is the long, hot summer and strong sunshine. I used to use car cling sunshade before, but it had to be sticked on the window and the window couldn’t be opened during driving. With this mesh sunshade in similar price, I could get rid of the UV ray and enjoy the nature wind at the same time. One stone hits two birds！The shading performance is excellent. A strong double shading can be provided when the window is closed. It seems like my air-condition works much better than before. And people can not see through it from outside. This is probably the most satisfying car accessory I have bought. Really useful in the weather like ours! I couldn’t wait to have a road trip to parks and forests with this. Imaging a good snap in car without any annoying insect!

I thought this was going to be amazing - I was less than impressed. The driver cannot see out well - bad when driving on the highway and finding that out. It doesn't stay stuck down and doesn't fit my window - I could not pull it taught enough. Looks like I threw a plastic bag over my window. ... It does block the sun pretty well but I wouldn't buy it again.

These fit great on my 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander rear windows, they make a big difference in temperature and the kids don’t complain about sun in their eyesLove that you can roll down the windows & still have the shadeGrate quality, have had them on since they arrived, I accidentally took them through the car wash & they held up perfect (not sure I would do that again)definitely recommend these, they are just what we needed

I use these mainly in the summer and for privacy in my car. It blocks out a lot of the sun on the side and helps me keep my tattoo from being too sun damaged while driving on both sides. They also provide a lot of privacy to where no one can see in too well if you just need somewhere to hide away for a while in public. I repurchase every summer to put them on (the sun fades away the black and eats at the netting so they don't last more than a season) but overall great for your car!These don't have any adhesion strips so you rely on how well your car stretches them out or holds them in place but if you create little velcro strips for them and your car, you're golden.

Didn't do much to block out sunlight unfortunately.. which was the reason I needed It.
