Tasty, pretty, fun
If you have only had shrimp chips from a bag these are a wonderful treat. You do have to "cook" them but the taste is so much better. We experimented with putting them in the microwave popcorn popper and they did "poof" but our timing is not perfected so we had mixed results. If you try it, you need less time than you do for popcorn. We watch our salt so this is a healthier option for us. Kids love the different colors.

delicious junk food
These are tasty and I love the crunchiness of them, once you get the hang of cooking them right. Just gotta get the temperature and timing right and these really satisfy the need to crunch on something. However, I'm a little thrown off by the description that made it sound like the ingredients were all natural with natural coloring, which I thought was possible since the light coloring. But it turns out it's MSG and food coloring galore, which is totally fine if they just straight up sold it as delicious junk food and not try to say "natural" anything.

Delicious and fun to prepare!!!
These are the authentic shrimp chips that I used to get in Chinese restaurants. The directions for preparation are easy to follow resulting in perfectly cooked chips. They are fun to make and transform from flat discs into big, puffy, colorful and delicious shrimp chips in a matter of seconds. Be sure to get your oil very hot to start then adjust it down as you cook to maintain an even temp. Note that they transform like magic and are fun to prepare with the kids. I like the flavor as they are, but sometimes add a light sprinkle of lemon pepper for an addition touch.

Flavorless
I guess if you’re looking for authentic taste, you might as well go to your local Thai or Korean store because this was very very very very far from it. As far as taste how they fry up, they fry how they supposed to fry, but the taste is just taste like a box And you get a sort of fishy taste, but it’s not there. This was a complete miss.

Loved making these at home!
I loved making these! They were super easy and taste great. I fried them in a 3-quart everything pan with just a shallow layer of oil in the bottom -- just enough to cover the cracker. They fry up really fast -- in seconds! -- so it's not a big-time commitment. I loved the salty, shrimpy taste, and so did the two kids who like shrimp. Third kid doesn't like shrimp and doesn't like these, which is an even bigger stamp of approval.

Miss These, Delicious!
I grew up eating these and had no idea this is what it looked like when uncooked! Not hard to cook, I was able to even fry these from a normal frying pan with enough oil in it heated up, but it'll be easier if you have a deeper pan or fryer as you need the whole chip saturated in oil for it to grow. Fun to fry and watch them puff up and it's a very quick process only a couple of seconds when the oil is at the right temp. Absolutely delicious, they are super crunchy and salty with prawn flavor. They puff up when cooked so there's actually a good amount here for many servings. Probably not the healthiest ingredients, but the nutrition facts aren't too bad and is a delicious treat every now and then.
