LOOKS more expensive than it actually IS
My idea when i bought this was to use it as an every day watch in addition to 2 other invictas I own. Time keeping is accurate as far as my concern goes, and it may need some minor adjustments every week or so... Since it has automatic movement, the seconds hand sweeps smoothly across the dial instead of that annoying tic-tac motion from quartz watches (IMO). This is also a screw down crown which, theoretically, improves water resistance, but the watch I received had a little clicking glitch in the rotating bezel that prevented me from taking it underwater... in fact, the only water it meets on my daily usage may be some rain drops, and it can definetely survive that without any concerns. Regarding it`s aesthetics, this looks and feels way more expensive than 100something dollars. If the brand logo was taken off and this watch was presented to me, I`d say it was worth around 500 bucks. When the gold tone hits the sunlight, this thing REALLY shines! Date window is nice and easy to read, but magnification isn`t the greatest, but that`s not a problem for my sight. Bezel looks sharp, but it`s also a little difficult to turn it around. Yet, if you are not a professional diver, you won`t need to keep turning the bezel all the time. PS.: I purchased this around Dec./2015. I`m writing this 12/21/2016 and it keeps working just like new... I eventually added a few hair-thin scratches to the bracelet but that just happens... the crystal itself still intact, mechanics and time keeping still looking like new at the time I write this. Final thoughts: looks good for the price, works good and keep time reasonably accurate (it`s not a rolex or other major swiss brand after all). For the time I own it (1 year) I don`t really have anything to complain about. I do recommend this watch for the general user.

A great watch on its own merits
Certainly if you buy this Invicta, you like Rolex type styling. I do! But a Rolex is a pricey option. Regardless, the Invicta is a great watch on its own merits and it provides a very good value for the dollar. This is my second Invicta (I've got the Stainless, black face model too). Both have provided excellent service and keep reasonable time. It's fun to look at the movement once in awhile through the glass back, plus, you can tell if it floods (which hasn't occurred). Only a couple of minor negatives. One is that even though the watch band has been improved on this generation Invicta, the clasp is still on the thin side. It functions perfectly, but if it were thicker, it would improve the perceived quality. Also, I don't personally care for the flying wings on the short side of the second hand (they don't always show up in the pictures of the watch face so buyers beware). Otherwise, the Invicta is a great watch and I will buy from Invicta again. I can't vouch for the water proof characteristics at depth for the Invicta. When I dive, it's with a Casio G-Shock. However, I've swam with the Invicta many times and as long as the crown is properly screwed down, it's fine. Bottom line - buy it.

impressive looks, easy on the wallet
got the Pro Diver G3 after considering various Seiko, Pulsar, and Citizen models, as well as other Invictas. When the G3 arrived, it met expectations. it looks classy, yet appears rugged enough to actually dive with it. most important feature: the hour markers and the hands are easily visible against the black background, and the sweep second hand smoothly traverses the face. the bracelet is nice, very masculine but not over-the-top. the scalloped bezel rotates as expected, and has a glow in the dark dot at the 60 minute position -- a nice "pro" touch. The 23k gold plating appears nicely finished, and the whole thing isn't as big or monstrous as i'd feared. it actually weighs less than my swiss army stainless steel chrono. the band was a bit big at first, but after adjusting the clasp, it fits fine on my wrist. the watch was running when i received it, so i didn't have to wind it from scratch, just adjusted the time and set the date, which is easy with the screw-down crown. so far it seems to be pretty accurate, but then i haven't taken it off since i got it two days ago. the biggest flaw is the date window-- it doesn't really add anything to the look, and doesn't really help magnify the date, it just makes the watch look like a Rolex knock-off. which it is, albeit a quality Rolex knock-off. That's fine, because at the price i paid, i can't complain. the signature invicta yellow box makes it look like a collectable, and contains warrenty card, and extended warranty info. it would be nice to have swiss movement and a sapphire crystal, but overall, i'm pretty happy with it, it doesn't look like a $100 timepiece at all. and, since it's an automatic, i never have to buy a battery for it.

Attractive and Well Made Watch
My wife and I ordered this watch (8929) and a matching woman's mini Pro Diver ( Invicta Women's Pro Diver Collection Gold-Tone Watch #8943 ) as Valentines gifts for each other. The watch is very attractive and fit and finish are very good. The black dial and bezel contrast nicely against the polished and brushed gold finishes. This watch really stands out. The band is well constructed and has a thick appearance and weighty feel. I also appreciate the micro-adjustments on the clasp which allowed me get a very nice fit. Despite having a fairly thin wrist, the 40mm face on this watch looks great on me. The automatic movement on my watch is accurate within about 6 seconds per day so far - which I think is pretty good for an automatic of this level of watch. Plus, it will never need batteries! I am very pleased with this purchase. My wife also loves her Pro Diver.

This watch is a poor mans Rolex.
I bought this watch inJuly of 2020, intending to wear it on dressy occasions. It never kept time for me even though it was kept on an auto winder. I called Amazon in mid March 2021, told them my story and they send me a replacement, no charge; even tho the return date was long ago past. This new watch keeps time as good as my Rolex Submariner does. It look great, and is very durable. Invicta uses this same automatic mechanism in their watches that cost thousands of dollars. I highly recommend this watch. You won't find a better watch at any price, and Amazon is the only place I shop. A Great Company.

Attention grabbing!
Watch is super attention grabbing and people will ask if you're wearing a Rolex;) All the functions works really fine just give 20 25 twists each day and watch runs without stop. Feel of the watch is good, it feels premium and heavy. Loom in the dark is not that good. After an hour or so loom fades away and can't see the time in the dark. Gold plating is solid and doesn't gets scratches easily. Water resistant should be nice if you tight the screw properly. Bought it for 10 thousand Indian rupee and I think it's the great price. Delivery took almost 19 days since this needs to be imported so mind that if you're planning to gift this on a specific day.

Accuracy.
Attractive, well crafted, (as all Invicta's are). Good value. Looses a few seconds a day but that's ok. Like this timepiece ! Highly recommend.
