great idea but not that practical
Bit dubious this would be liked by my spaniel. But coincidence or not she seems to eat a lot better finishing up all her meals instead of leaving some. i thought she might try to eat from the side and finding she couldnt not bother at all but straight away she went to the end. still manages to get a bit of ear inside the bowl on occasions but on the whole they stay outside. Only drawback is it cant go in the dishwasher but obviously thats not really a problem.Update: Have found now that our dog is using this -that she finds it difficult to get the last bits of dinner out and tends to give up - greedy dogs might stick with it! The bowl also moves a lot when she is trying for the last pieces and we end up shaking them down to one end and lifting up and holding the bowl so that she can finish. But still love the product.Update 2 - Obviously have time on my hands to update twice but not so in love with this now. get really fed up with moving the food several times a meal and end up tipping the last few pieces on to the floor - maybe the bowl is too small for my small cocker spaniel or she is just not into food that much but I am now hunting around for another style that will keep her ears out of the food but will let her get at it more easily. Still handy item to travel with though.

Great for keep droopy eared dogs clean!
Brilliant bowl, we also have the larger size in another room.Best to rinse it out and refill daily so biofilm doesn’t form.Excellent product, def recommend🐾

Spaniel tested and approved
Bought for my spaniel who pushes her bowls around the floor also gets her ears in her food. This product is absolutely brilliant in all ways. Wish I had found it years ago.

I love this bowl! Wet ears are no longer. I bought a small and it is more than adequate size for Cocker Spaniel.
