The original grates on my Weber Spirit II E-310 with this set, and the difference is incredible. These are some of the best Weber Spirit 2 grill parts I've ever bought.The cast iron construction makes a noticeable difference — they heat up evenly, retain the heat well, and give that satisfying sear on steaks and burgers. You can tell just by the weight and feel that these are built to last. Much stronger than the factory grates!Installation was effortless, fit was spot-on, and cleanup is fairly simple if you keep them seasoned. If you’re maintaining or upgrading your Weber Spirit II, these grates are a top-tier choice.

High quality, fit perfectly, better than the original Weber grates

The cast iron grates the grill came with worked well, but were starting to get pitted. I usually opt for cast iron over stainless because it's easy to get a substandard grade of stainless, and you don't know until it's too late. So far these grates are perfect. They've been through some chicken, pork, and beef, and various sauces and seasonings, and clean up like new very easily. They seem to be good quality stainless. They fit perfectly with just the right amount of play, too. Great replacement grates, and I am pleased with their performance.

My Weber grill came with cast iron grates.Right; within 2 years, they were rusting and adding bits of iron to my burgers.Replaced with porcelain enameled cast iron.Again, the porcelain failed after 3 years, and, once again, I was spitting out rusty bits.These stainless-steel grates, 1/2 the cost of the iron types, clean easily, grill beautifully, and I'd be shocked if they ever corroded.Months later: Possibly a low grade of stainless steel, but every time I fire up my grill, these have a thin coating of rust. No, I don't follow the instructions to wipe them with oil after each use. That's why I chose stainless steel. Anyway, a quick pass with a wire brush restores the smooth cooking surface.

Very heavy weight and substantial. They fit perfectly on my Weber Spirit 320 grill. The only reason that I’m giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is that they need to be seasoned like cast iron to get a good non-stick surface. If I had done my research and read online generic recommendations for seasoning I would’ve realized that the correct process means leaving the oiled grates on the grill on low for 2 hours! That seemed like a lot of propane so instead I only oiled them with canola oil prior to the first use and the meat did stick, although not horribly (they were difficult to clean afterwards.) The next time I used a liberal amount of grapeseed oil and had better results (very little sticking and easy to clean, possibly because I cleaned them while still hot.) I’ve been using the grapeseed oil since then with pretty good results. I’m happy with the purchase.

Fit in as direct replacement for my Weber grill. Stayed with cast iron. My old grated left narrower grill marks than this does but fit in perfectly size wise.

Perfect fit for Weber spirit 315

The original grates on my Weber Spirit were disintegrating more with every use. I didn't want to spend as much as Weber wants for new ones, so I was glad to find these for such a remarkable price. They're sturdy and easy to clean. Best of all, there's no danger of rusting to crumbs. A spatula glides more easily over the round bars than it did on the flatter bars of the original grate; that's a plus. The only criticism I have is that the bars are wider apart than the old grate, which makes grilling asparagus a little more challenging. Not a deal breaker though. I'm very pleased with this purchase!
