Natural Violet Flavor - 4 FL OZ

This has a clean violet scent but it is very dilute, and it is diluted down with glycol rather than alcohol. A tablespoon is required where only three drops of a conventional essence would be used. It would be fine for something like cake or a pastry where adding that large volume of glycol isn't going to hurt anything, but it is not possible to use this for ice cream without considerable texture change and without leaving a glycol flavour in the final product.

This product has more of a rose essence than anything. Nothing like violet and I was disappointed.
