I don't know if it's supposed to be "sheer". It isn't, but it does its job and is beautiful to boot. It feels like some sort of nylon and looks sheer. Truth be told, the guest tub/shower is not used much so I can't attest to mildew resistance or anything like that, but I'm sure it would wash nicely in the washer. I'd drip-dry it to be safe.

I bought this for a bathroom which would rarely use for shower but more for powder room purpose. So it’s more for display than use. The design gives a very zen and calm feel to the room. But if it’s use heavily as being pull open and close all the time, I think it will tear very quickly. They should make one with thicker material and charge a bit more for people who really wants it for use as intended. I rated 5 stars for sheerness, lightweight, and value for money because it’s so thin, of course sheerness is 5 stars, and lightweight. It’s a cheap decorative item for me.

I didn't want a shower curtain that was cutesy or "fashionable". I wanted one that would be beautiful and serene without screaming, "I'm a shower curtain!" This fulfills both of these functions and does a splendid job as a shower curtain, as well.

This shower curtain has all the zen feels.It is white,which I was worried about because I have kids,but so far so good-no stains.It is extremely light weight.Quality could be a little better but good value for the price.I’ve seen reviews about it being sheer but it is not see through.I have it payed with a clear shower liner.

I am glad I ignored the negative nellies. The pics posted by customers that have light behind them are deceiving. The other photos look good. Mine is wrinkle free, yeah. Because I use this setting on my iron called Nylon. It's way lower than any steam settings. And I sprayed water on all bad wrinkles. It is a Polyester Fabric and nothing like plastic. It looks good!

This is a beautiful shower curtain but when I unfolded it, there were deep creases. Others commented they had the same experience, and I've been showering and steaming that room to little effect. Next up: I'll try the steamer function of my iron and wave it past the shower curtain. If they folded this with paper or other cushioning, I don't think we'd have this issue. If you have other tips about this, please comment.

Soft colors, photo not distorted, washable - this one is good quality.
