These pants are insanely tough!! My son was in an accident at school. He was playing soccer and he slid on the grass and somehow slid into the fence gate and a bolt on the gate ripped his leg open. It was a horrific injury and he had to get over 20 stitches. It was a deep cut all the way down to his muscle. BUT - the pants did NOT rip!! Not even a snag!!The teachers, the doctors at the ER, everyone we tell is AMAZED that his pants were perfectly fine. The doctors were joking that my son should be the spokesman for these pants! And, just as important, they washed up so nicely and all the blood came right out - not even a stain!But besides that incident I really like the pants anyway. They wash up sooo nicely. No wrinkles at all. They hold their shape perfectly and the black ones are still perfectly colored. We also have the shorts version. These will always be the only uniform pant I get! Plus they have stayed so nice we have worn them a dress slacks to events.

First, the pro for these pants: My son, who is 11, likes pants with an elastic waist for weekend wear. For school, he has to wear uniform pants (not these) with snaps and zippers, so for weekends and off-days, he likes to be more comfortable. But it's getting harder and harder as he gets older to find elastic waist pants that aren't cargo pants, with all those bulky pockets. So I got these and he wore them for the first time yesterday. He's small for his age, so he wears a 10/12. These are size 10s, and they fit fine.Cons: I'd be a little happier if they were all cotton (they're 60 percent polyester, 40 percent cotton), but I'm sure since they're uniform pants, that makes them more wrinkle-resistant.The biggest con, and why 2 stars instead of 5, is the glaring sewing error right on the front. I'm attaching a photo. Notice on one pocket, some of the white lining shows. At first I thought this was part of the design, to give these fairly plain pants a little more flair. But the other pocket is not sewn that way. If I had bought these for my son to wear as a uniform, I'd be very unhappy and I'd likely return them. Since I didn't, I'm OK with them, but I'd warn any parent who is purchasing them as part of the uniform that this might be a problem.

We needed pants for our son who just started Kindergarten, and these are super easy for him to take on and off. They looked nice initially, except for the white lining of the pocket is slightly visible from the front with one pocket, as if it's just slight off when it was sewn together. It's not super noticeable so not a huge deal. They pants are starting to pill quite a bit in the front, particularly in the thigh area and are getting noticeably worn and thinning out, which is surprising considering they're less than 2 months old. In a nutshell, they're really good for convenience, but they probably aren't going to last very long. In comparison, we bought him some Cat n' Jack pants from Target also around the same time, and they are in much better shape without any pilling at all.

I love these pants and can’t say enough about unik!! They are made great, look great, and fit great!! They fit my 5 yr old son wonderfully! He’s on the shorter thicker side, so we always have a hard time with length but these are made wonderful for him. He normally wears a size 4 or 5 in little boys since most 5T’s are a little tight in the butt, but these pants seem like they were made just for him! He still has plenty of room to grown without them looking baggy. Unik has been a lifesaver for me on uniform bottoms and pants!! And they hold up great! The unik bottoms that I bought a year ago, still look new; even though they were worn severs times a week by a rowdy pre-schooler. I wish they made more colors and sizes so everyone could experience them.

If you are looking for easy mornings and independence in your kids' morning routine, do BUY THESE!!!!!! So sad that they do not make a size 14 as one of our kids have outgrown these pants. They have proven to be more durable than our Land's End uniform pants at nearly half the cost. The wear is great and they wash well, no ironing needed!!!! DO YOURSELF a huge favor and get these. We bought the Amazon brand uniform pants that are a 14 and are pretty happy but miss the pull on (no show) waist. In other words you can't see the elastic waist on those if your kids can wear untucked polos.

They are holding up well to my active boy. They fit well and are comfortable. They hold well in the long term for washing and drying. Last purchase of a size smaller held up to the entire school year and they still look great. These seem to fit small and regular size children well. I had to make a different purchase for my husky child.

Definitely size down. This fits both my boys well in a size smaller than usual. One boy has a slim waist and larger rear, and the other is slim all around. They work for both. I love that they do not wrinkle and are pull on. Even my child with SPD loves the way they feel. Works perfectly for uniform pants.

These are the only uniform pants that fit my son well. I’ve bought 6 pairs so far and they’re always as good as the last. He started with size 4 and moved on to size 8 now. They seem to be long enough for him. The best part? It’s a pull on so if your kids are struggling with buttons or they’re a little husky this is the best option. They have pockets in the front and in the back. Haven’t had any issues with them and fast shipping.
