Repeat purchases
I really like the selection of colourful designs these collars come in - the plain versions appear to be made from a different material and I am less keen on those. I have purchased the heart and the star designs in the past but am currently getting the ones with little mice for my cat; I like them all but enjoy a change. The collar is adjustable and perfectly fits both my older cat who is now fairly slender and the more well built younger feline. The clasp clicks together securely but comes undone in the event your cat gets caught on something (or if someone tries to grab them by the collar when they do not want to be caught - vets, usually). This does mean I need to buy a collar fairly regularly as the youngest cat is quite active and loses hers every three months or so, hence I keep a couple of spares in stock to avoid her going out without her ID tag (stocks kept of these as well) or the bell that is integral to the collar. These collars are attractive, come with a bell to warn birds and have a safety release clasp. I like them and, although my cat regularly loses hers, that is down to her active lifestyle rather than a fault with the collar (oldest cat still has the same one from a few years ago). I am a repeat purchaser.

These are THE BEST cat collars !
These Red Dingo cat collars are brilliant! They have everything a cat collar should have - they look good, have a bell, are adjustable and the catch opens if the cat gets caught on something. These are also long enough for big male cats (which mine are), it can be very hard to find collars that are long enough and I was very relieved to find these. I cannot recommend them highly enough!!!To the lady who said the collars she bought came off too easily - sounds like your collars weren't fitted tightly enough; they should be snug but you should still be able to get 2 fingers comfortably between the collar and your cat's neck. Any looser than that & the cat can get his foreleg in and pull it off himself. Alternatively, maybe the 3 prongs on one end of the catch (not the 'fish' end) were pushed in together & therefore didn't 'snap and fix' when the collar was put on? You can gently pull the outer prongs out a bit (they are soft-ish plastic & won't break) so that they fit inside the 'fish' better, you should hear a click when you put the collar on & you then know it's secure.

Love Dingo Cat Collars...
Love Dingo Cat Collars, good design, the emergency release works well (we have located one in a tree where one of our cats must have been scratching on a branch). They fit the cats well & don't cause irritation to the fur or skin around the neck & the designs are gorgeous. We currently have one black cat in red with white stars and one black cat in a 'tiffany' coloured blue all set for the christmas season.

Lovely when new but they soon fray.
Thought these collars were a little bit pricey....more than I would normally pay, so I was hoping for a good long lasting quality collar. They looked great on arrival. Lovely soft pink colour. Easy to alter the length, a sweet pink bell and a fish shaped clasp that undoes easily for safety. My cats have been wearing them now for a few weeks and the collar has now frayed and gone all fluffy which doesn't look great. They are still wearable but looks shabby. I guess this is due to my cats scratching their necks. I wouldn't buy these again.

Looks great and the boy seemed to like it
Looks great and the boy seemed to like it. Until he came home without it, six days later.. a pound a day. For normal cats who go out foraging every day this kind of collar is a waste of time. We bought one with a buckle from the market for a quid instead, which he still has a month later. If he gets stuck, he'll get free. He's a cat, he's not just going to stay stuck in the bushes chatting to his cat buddies going "oh damn it, if only my owners bought me one of those quick release collars. You know the ones, the ones that we as a species loose within a week? Every single time? Yeah, if only I had one of those on. I could be watching Cat Coronation Street in front of the fire with a brew by now, but i'm not, i'm stuck in a bush."Well made and nice looking, but only suitable for unadventurous boring cats. Or house cats. But then you wouldn't need a collar. So it's all a bit pointless really. The dog version works perfectly by the way, buy that instead. Only side affect there is your cats crew will mock him because he has a plastic bone instead of a plastic fish. "ha! look at him!" they cry. "Felix, stop sharing your mackerel with him, he's wearing a bone."

the only collar that has survived my cat
Great! Beautiful colour and pattern for our black and white kitten. He's been through a ridiculous amount of collars, some of which from big brands, but this one is the only one that hasn't mysteriously vanished XD

I think these are fairly expensive for a cat collar so expected them to be of good quality. I bought 1 for each of my cats and after a short amount of time both collars became misshapen and 1 edge tilted inwards so the edge was rubbing the cats neck rather then the flat part being against it. The collars went in the bin.

Poor quality
Shocking quality. Only on for 2 weeks and already starting to fray. Save your money and don’t buy
