One of the best straw cups! I've tried so many and I keep coming back to this brand. Although it's not ideal for travel since there's no cover, this helped my son to learn how to drink from a straw, cleaning is so easy and simple. Highly highly recommend!

Absolutely the best straw trainer out there! First saw it on a YouTube video while I was searching the internet in despair for how to teach our language delayed child to use a straw cup instead of a sippy cup. Our speech therapist said straws and cups would be better for the muscles needed for speech. Everything I tried before this cup resulted in tears and stress --- for us both!! Child learned in under a minute by trying this cup. Seriously best money I ever spent! We moved immediately to regular straw cups, then eventually child size regular cups. I do NOT recommend leaving your child alone with this cup if you have a little 'engineer-in-training' like we do, because child wanted to see 'how it works' and made a mess! It's a great tool for training & transitioning to a regular independently used straw cup. Think of the button on top of the lid as the training wheels -- it stacks the deck in the child's favor to have successful "ride" with straw right away. The concept was easy to grasp for our child when they experienced it in a positive stress free situation! Highly recommend this product to teach straw use concept.

My 6 and half months old baby learned how to use a straw in 3 seconds! This is fabulous! We previously had another straw cup and tried it for two weeks with no success but with this one it took him 3 seconds to get it. Yes, it’s not spill proof but my purpose was to straw train and as soon as he will get used to the straw I plan to use a spill proof straw cup outside of the house and this one is perfect to be used at home in the high chair after meals.

My baby has bad experience with straw cups because in the past when I let him tried other straw cups, he put his mouth to the straw and nothing happens. He didn't understand why I need to put straw into his mouth and he got very upset and swear he will not allow any straw to come near him again. He pushes away all kinds of sippy cups. He also pushes away ritchell cups in the beginning, refused to try. BUT the FIRST TIME he was willing to try after many attempts, he gets it immediately. Why? Because there is a button u can push to get the water come out from the straw. The only caveat is once the baby learns about the button, he will keep pushing it to get the water out without drinking it but to play with it. But once he gets the concept of sucking from the straw, we give him a munchkin straw cup and he knows how other straw cup works now. We spent 100 dollars worth of different types of cups before we tried this one. If we could just tried this one in the first place, we would have saved a lot of money. So I don't think this is expensive after all. It's definitely much cheaper than hiring a feeding therapist. We are so glad our friend told us this cup. It works like a miracle that I couldn't believe it works on my child who has developmental delay.

We used this sippy cup to teach our child how to use straw and worked great! However, we can't use it long term as it leaks a lot. We switched to another product once he knows how to use straw.

My daughter is breastfed. She doesnt use a bottle nor does she use a binky ( pacifier ) i have struggled for months trying to get her on a bottle and now shes grown out of the bottle ( 8 months) i was in absolute panic because i didnt know how i would get her to use her straw cup … this design allows them to get a bit of water just by pressing down on the cup and when water flows up they begin to drink… after day 1 of using this she was drinking from the straw on her own !!!!

The label on the cup is 150ml, not 190ml.

I don't know why this cup isn't more widely known...it is genius to help baby learn the concept of a straw cup. You simply fill up the cup and make sure the straw and its vent/air hole is properly attached to the lid and push the button on the opposite side of the lid to bring water up. My baby was able to learn how to drink out of a straw cup in 2 days. Only downside-- now that she is older (9 months) she is able to pull off the lid and spill all the water. We ended up transitioning to another spill proof straw cup shortly after she learned.
