This seat is a life saver! My daughter and I were able to install the seat with little issue. The seat allows my mother to maintain her independence when bath-rooming. She struggles with getting up from a seated position and even with a seat riser had difficulty. Since we installed this seat, she's had no problems getting up and can do so unassisted.Yesterday, the unit stopped working. I called the company today and within a minute had the issue resolved and it is working again. Great tech support!!!!The only negative I have is that it's cold because of the metal. However, there are toilet seat cover options available on Amazon.This seat has saved my back and lessened my worry about my mom being unable to get up when alone.

This saved my life when I broke my shoulder. We had grab bars but I was unable to use my right arm, so my husband had to help me off the toilet!! This seat gave me my dignity back!!!

Stopped working after 2 weeks. I purchased this to help as I recovered from surgery. It initially worked well, but suddenly completely stopped working. I can hear the motor running if I press the down bottom, but nothing happens if the up bottom is pressed. I’m nowhere near the weight limit, so it is pretty infuriating that I spent money for something that I needed but failed so quickly.

this is a wonderful device!! my mom is 95 and can no longer get up from the toilet unassisted. it was physically taxing on me and emotionally taxing on her. i had already ordered two electric risers which were too big and bulky for our bathroom. i received this and installed it and it was so perfect. the size is small, it is beautifully designed and solidly manufactured. i have to say this product has been a game changer. i have to thank the makers for this godsend. it is such a nice unit and has made our lives so much better. sincere thanks for producing a wonderful product. i would heartily recommend this to anyone facing these issues.

This product worked well and met the needs of our handicapped family member for a couple of weeks before it just quit working.BTY: it is made of metal for sitting on this toilet is a jolt because it is so cold.Update: I contacted the manufacturer. They almost immediately responded. (On a holiday. Happy Easter Sunday.) With a suggestion for resetting the control. It worked. Thank you now we are back in business.

This is such a great riser for people with limited arm and leg strength. Also, it’s beautifully constructed. I had to return because it was too wide for my father’s space.

I’ve had this toilet bowl lift for about 2 months. I was very pleased with this unit. It feels very solid and gives me confidence when I sit on the commode…until recently. Two times recently, pushing the up button when I was ready to get up off the commode, nothing happened when I pressed the up button on the little up/down remote. The up motor did not start as it usually did. The first time this happened, after a few minutes, the up motor kicked in. But earlier today I pressed the up button, but the electric motor would not kick in. With a lot of hassle, I was able to stand without the raised toilet seat. But it was not easy (I have muscular dystrophy.) The unit was advertised to handle up to 300 lbs. I weigh only165. So, only 3 stars. I hope the manufacturer will make good on fixing this.Update: I called the manufacturer/distributor and had to leave a voicemail. Within 2 hours I received the return call. The problem concerned a power surge. The fix: hold the down button for 10 seconds. And I now have a working power toilet seat that to me is very solid and useful and helpful. Kudos to the company for a quick turnaround and solution. Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. I bought the Vocic AX12 Toilet Lift to increase safety and independence in the bathroom, and it has exceeded my expectations. I was expecting installation to be complicated, but I was surprised at how easy it was—it took my husband about 10 minutes, and the instructions were simple to follow. It easily attached to my Toto toilet with the enclosed bolts. Attaching the handrails was very easy (enclosed hardware & wrench). You do need an GFCI outlet nearby, so keep that in mind (I’m lucky to have one right next to the toilet).The lift itself is really sturdy and smooth, making it much easier to sit down and stand up. It feels stable and well-built, and I don’t have to worry about struggling or losing my balance. Bathrooms can be tricky when mobility is an issue, and this lift seat has given me a lot more confidence.If you’re looking for extra support in the bathroom, this is definitely worth considering. As I find videos helpful (esp when making large purchases), I filmed the installation so you can see how easy it is. Hope this helps.
