I ordered these last week and received the shipment today, but am very disappointed in the sloppy craftsmanship and poor quality. I took pics and attached here to show why I am disappointed. These have not been used, as I literally took them out of the crate in the past hour.The handles look like many of them were dropped/abused before the dumbbell heads were placed on them, as the knurling is dented or nicked. On a few of the pairs, the handle must have been hit so hard that the nick caused the metal to "flake" out and it scratches your hands when holding the dumbbell. There doesn't seem to be a good quality assurance process in place, as the finishing on these is poor as you can see. I'm honestly shocked, as Rep has a good reputation and so many good reviews. Hopefully I just received a bad set, but unfortunately I was just purchasing this one set to determine whether I wanted to buy the 7 other sets I need for my studio from Rep.I don't have any confidence that these will last long at all. I have purchased many other rubber hex sets in the past, and although rubber hex is not known as being the highest quality dumbbell available, they were all much better made than this set.

I got the 5-100 best 3k I’ve ever spent the rack was very easy so assemble. The crate weighs about 2400 ibs so when they deliver it if you have an incline on your drive way be prepared to work out your legs. Have plenty of trash bags because the weights are individually boxed. Also I will add that there isn’t any odors that come off of the weights. I don’t know why you are still reading this review just order them already.

Weights arived in a wooden crate boxed individually or in pairs. Nylon straps around each box made unpacking and moving them around easy. Very little or no rubber smell. I love the thick design of the handles and the rack is sturdy and easy to assemble. It would be nice if Rep would adjust the size of the rack to accommodate all of the weights. Overall, super happy with the quality and how they were packaged and shipped.

I have a ton of Rep Fitness gear for a couple reasons. One, I'm always impressed with their quality and price. They are in Colorado and have a great staff! If I have any questions or concerns, they are fast to respond. Makes being a customer easy :)I really liked the fully knurled troy dumbbells at my globo gym for a couple reasons.One, there are no smooth parts of the handle that make them harder to grip. Especially when I start to sweat a bit. I noticed all of the other options for rubber hex dumbbells had the smooth/knurled handles. I think that is a really bad design.Two, the weight is better distributed over my entire hand instead of having a weird contoured handle.Third, best price for rubber hex dumbbells!Lastly, I love them!

Purchased set about 3 mos. ago. Great overall value in terms of quality and price - welded dumbbell heads (avoid cheap sets that screw-on), fully knurled and straight handlebars for better grip as opposed to awkward ergo grips, low-odor coating, sturdy wt. rack, etc. After seeing the quality, I actually ordered extra set of 60 lb. dumbbells. Stand is easy to assemble, took 10 minutes. I highly recommend this set, comparable to commercial gyms. There are cheaper sets available but you get what you pay for.

I really like the dumbbells. The racks are stable and easy to put together, however, I do not like that all of the dumbbells cannot all fit on these two racks. I would have preferred that the racks be a little longer so they could actually fit all the dumbbells that come with the set.

When i first received the package, it looked a bit intimidating. I have ordered from Rep Fitness in the past (power rack and adjustable bench) and putting things together has been fairly easy. I like the use of standard parts, just in case I lose a screw, nut, or bolt.I already had all the dumbbells out. Each pair came in a separate box. The dumbbell rack came in its own box and was well wrapped and protected. Assembly was easy. I did it by 99% by myself. I only asked help when I started placing the shelfs to side braces. Once I had loosely attached the bottom two shelfs and one of the top shelfs, the rest was easy.I forgot to take a photo of the fully assembled rack, but you get the idea. I placed all the dumbbells on the rack and, yes, it's solid.I will update the review over time with a fully assembled rack photo and my thoughts on the rack after using it for a month or twoOverall, delighted with the purchase.

Just took shipment of the 5-75lb set. Couldn’t ask for a better product! The packaging is outstanding! Pretty sure the delivery truck could’ve flipped over into the ocean and been attacked by sharks and the weights would’ve been fine! It’s obvious that extreme care is taken when packaging these for delivery. As for the dumbbells themselves, they’re great! The full nurl is a welcome relief from nurl/smooth/nurl/smooth/nurl style dumbbells that can start to slip when your hands get sweaty. The larger grips on the 20+ pound dumbbells are nice too! These are going to be used for our basement gym and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone! Great product!!!
