This is a decent non-electric telescoping wand for Miele vacuums, including the C3, which I have. I've previously purchased this vendor's Miele-compatible non-electric floorhead brush head and I really liked it, so much so, that I came back for the non-electric wand to pair with it. I have the top of the line electrobrush that came with the C3, and my electric telescoping wand is fine with no issues at the moment, so why was I interested in this? I've heard from several Miele owners over the years that the connection between the brush head and the electric wand is very touchy, and to be extremely careful when connecting and removing it, lest it break ahead of schedule. The connection at the top of the electric wand is far more robust, and less of a concern. I've noticed that as I swap floorheads, it has indeed weakened the connection over the years, and now the vacuum wand and electrobrush no longer stand upright easily. Keep in mind I've had my Miele for nearly eight years, so some wear is to be expected. Since replacing these two OEM parts can rival half the cost of a brand new machine, I've heard of some Miele owners have recommended purchasing a cheap, dedicated non-electric wand to use with their bare floor attachment. This minimizes the need to disconnect the electrobrush from electric wand. To mitigate this issue, and I've decided to do the same. The VACEXT aftermarket wand is much lighter than the Miele OEM electric wand. This makes it less burdensome to lug around, and even more fun to use than the OEM set, which I reserve for high-pile carpets and heavy-traffic areas. Together, the VACEXT wand and head make quick work of the bare floor areas in my home, as well as any areas that need to be vacuumed quickly.Note that my wand did come dented, which I wasn't thrilled about. However, the damage was only aesthetic in nature and did not affect functioning. I'd recommend going over the product carefully when you receive it to inspect for damage. Also note that this is NOT the electric version of the wand, and will only work with non-electric attachments.In sum, this is a decent aftermarket telescoping wand, and I would recommend this accessory for Miele owners who need a replacement non-electric telescoping wand. I'd also highly recommend it to those who, like myself, frequently use a bare floor attachment, and wish to minimize the wear and tear on their OEM wand and electrobrush.

This worked for my Miele vacuum compact C2. The only problem is you can’t expand it all the way. The wand is wobbly. But it’s fine.

I couldn't be more pleased with this VACEXT accessory order! I have a Miele C1 Canister Vacuum equipped with the stock non-electric wand that is attached to Miele's adjustable (floor to area rug) suction nozzle. I also have the added alternate nozzle attachment kit that includes a crevice tool, upholstery attachment and an additional less robust full-size floor nozzle for the vacuum cleaner. However, it's a bit of a chore to remove the stock floor nozzle from the original wand whenever I need to swap out one of the other described attachments. I thought it might be easier to have an additional wand on hand that I could use with just the alternate nozzle set.Having the addition of this extra wand is a game-changer! The wand itself seems to be a higher quality-made stainless steel/aluminum product. Fit and finish are both excellent; I have absolutely no problem mounting this added extension wand to the flexible hose/tube assembly attached to my vacuum as the wand snaps on and releases easily. Adjustment of the wand's length is also a breeze; one simply pushes the included button and the wand extends or retracts without difficulty.Adding the nozzle attachments to the extra wand is spot on -- all extra nozzles mentioned earlier fit perfectly and don't fall off as I'm using my Miele vacuum. I highly recommend this well-manufactured quality product for Miele canister vacuums!

I have a Miele C3 and recently put a decent dent in my original wand so that it could not be length-adjusted anymore. This is a good quality replacement, nearly identical to the original. My only complaint is that the mechanism that allows you to adjust the length is different and a bit trickier to use.

I have the Miele C1 Homecare. This extension wand is beautiful and fits perfectly. It extends and contracts easily just like the OEM however it’s not electrified. This looks as good and works as well as original Miele parts. It’s a perfect fit and good to have on hand.

This VACEXT wand works perfectly with our Miele vacuum (Antares model) and all its attachments. The only difference being the mechanism to extend the wand is slightly different. I actually didn’t need to replace our Miele wand, but knowing it also works with my Festool dust extractor/vacuum hoses, I thought I’d get the VACExt wand to use with the Festool. Works great! I lost one of the three stainless steel tubes that came with the Festool workshop cleaning kit, so now I’m using this VACEXT wand. It’s actually easier to use than the Festool tubes because the VACEXT wand expands with the push of a button. The end of the Festool 36mm (36mm is the hose diameter) anti static hose compression fits over the VacExt wand, while the Festool curved handle-tube and the end of my 27mm hose both compression-fit inside the wand nicely. The Festool floor cleaning attachment compression-fits on the other end of the VACEXT wand just as it does with the Festool tubes. Great find for a Miele or a Festool. Seems of good quality and durable.
