I got this to replace a wooden handled spade which I had snapped trying to dig out some boulders in the garden.This spade did the trick. Lovely sharp blade and took a lot of punishment.When I put too much force on the spade, (I'm a pretty strong guy so this was a lot of force) the shaft gave way and bent, but sprung back into shape perfectly without any damage. So even if you're heavy handed like me, you won't break it if you use too much force, it will just flex and spring back.

Definitely recommend this if you want a small strong shovel. I have arthritis in my hands so can't manage large shovels but this one is great. Have managed to dig holes for planting trees..it may be small but it's really well made. Definitely recommend it

Good product, seems well made. Has lasted whilst being used for digging up lawn to relay, ground is fairly hard so has done a good job, great price. A little smaller than expected but I didn’t check this before purchase, still works great.

good value for money good solid shovel, however its a bit heavy

Wow a sharp spade which is lightweight due to its smaller size and makes spade work really easy now , ideal for male or female. Wish we had bought this years ago instead of making do with old , heavy , blunt spades.

Does the job general garden maintenance.

The handle is strong the the flat part of spade flexes when you use weight on it. Poor.

This is a good solid spade but heavier than I hoped.
