7,62 X 54r Spam Can Collectable Pillow

Cool pillow, I know most people wouldn't associate the same crowd that's into military surplus items as being into decorative pillows, but stranger things have happened. The pillow is soft, really fluffy, and is just about the same size as an ammo can, slightly larger. I haven't had it long, but I have spilled a bit of tea on it, it seems to be pretty stain resistant and cleaned up easily. My only complaints are that it would be nice for it to have matched the actual color of the spam cans it is modeled after better, and it would be nice if it were not a sealed pillow so it could more easily be cleaned or restuffed later down the line. As far as the color, it is a good deal lighter than a real spam can, and is more brown/tan than OD green. See picture for a side-by-side comparison. Other than the not perfect color match, This thing is really cool. The color thing really isn't that big of a deal, although I will admit it dissapointed me a bit at first glance, I highly prefer green over brown/tan as ODG is my favorite color and that would be more authentic, but that's a personal preference. Honestly though, the text on it probably stands out better With the lighter color, it matches more other common household colors so it looks decent enough to not clash or look horrid with the decorative tastes of someone who isn't a huge fan of milsurp items, and it is definitely close enough color-wise to be recognizable as what it is supposed to be. I imagine there isn't a huge demand for fuzzy fabrics in true OD green either, so the color is probably as close as was available from the fabric manufacturer. All around I really like this thing and am happy with the purchase, I wouldn't mind some other variations like 5.45 and 7.62x39, and will happily purchase another later on, especially if more variations become available, although I could have dealt with it being a few dollars cheaper.

I love the smell of cosmoline in the morning. especially when accompanied with the thunderous roar of a Mosin Nagant and imported corrosive ammo. In fact, I love it so much, I decided I should own a pillow mimicking my ammo can! Now only if I can pry it out from under the woman I love, I might actually enjoy this pillow as well!

Got this as a present for my boyfriend and he is obsessed with it. It is super soft and comfortable. It is also great that you can unzip it to wash it.

I love these pillows. They're comfortable and seem to be well-made. They very closely match my actual 7.52x54R spam can. My wife wasn't terribly impressed when I explained them, but my Dad thought they were great. Personally I'm very happy with the purchase and hope they come out with additional similar lines of collectible throw pillows.

The pillow is actually REALLY soft and maintains its structure well. Package arrived promptly. I think the price was a bit high for such a small decorative pillow, but my husband loves it!

This item is exactly the same size and color as a real Warsaw Pact ammunition storage can, but of course it is much lighter and softer! This is a must-have piece of home decor for any eastern bloc military surplus collector.

I got this pillow a few days after it became available and I have to say I love this little thing. It's very well made and comfy, a bit on the firm side but soft nonetheless. 10/10, would recommend.
