Shelly 2PM Gen3 WiFi 2-Channel Smart Relay Switch, Power Metering

I gotta admit, I was skeptical at first.. I had never heard of Shelly and the insane amount of features packed into this extremely small package is just crazy. But now that I've been using the Shelly 2PM Gen3 for a few days it's amazing! It does so much! I have mine controlling the opening and closing of the door on our chicken coop based on sunrise and sunset. The mobile app has so many features.. I'm barely scratching the surface of what it can do. And I can't believe there are so many options for connectivity; Bluetooth, Wifi, Zigbee, Matter, etc. The build quality is exactly what I expected to be honest.. but that' snot a bad thing. This device is mean to be in harsh environments.. not wet ones mind you but hot and dusty is no problem. Mine is mounted inside a steel box roughly 80' from the nearest wifi access point and it still has a signal. The support has also been very, very good.. you have multiple choices too, you can post on Reddit.com/r/ShellyUSA/ or they have a Facebook Support Group.. or you can login and create a support ticket. The people on the Reddit sub are very active and responsive! All of this for less than $35! I now have about 3 other projects around here that I will be using a Shelly for!

Blown away by how good the firmware on these things is compared to everything else I've ever used (Tasmota, ESPHome, not to mention tons of no-name Chinese parts). Plug and play, don't need an app, immediately integrates with HomeAssistant, can act as a smart switch, and it's way way smaller than I expected. Just an amazing package, will be buying more!

these are great. very reliable and easy to use. jamming them into the electrical box can sometimes be a challenge but they've held up to being jammed in.

worked great, and easy to install. Its super small and I was able to fit it into a box which had 1 2 plug outlet and 2 switches, and its successfully integrating with both switches, and no issues integrating to Home Assistant for remote control.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Was not familiar with Shelly products until I did some research and purchased two of them and they are fantastic. I put them in my RV so I can sit down and I have to add more switches. They are a bit moderately difficult to hook up to your Amazon Alexa, but it’s not too difficult And is incredibly awesome. I really enjoy these switches. They are perfect for anybody that wants to do home automation of any kind.

great product, well engineered device and ecosystem. Easy to setup and use... only I bought 13 (one spare) and two failed almost immediately (weeping face). This is why a 4 not a 5. They are replaced and serving the goal well. The goal was to automatically close emergency shutters in the event of tornado or hurricane. The only part not done and fully automatic is integration of Alexa to the Emergency Alery System (which has nothing to do with this product).

Shelly's thoroughness in engineering and design really shine thru with these things. I rewired 6 ceiling fans in my house using these to control the fan and light independently. No problems, and seamless integration with Home Assistant. Absolutely love Shelly products in general.

I really like these units. I have bought about 10 of these over the past year and use them in many projects because they are so versatile.

Easy to wire and setup controlling my roller garage door, with the added bluetooth hub I have also fitted a door monitor switch to the back door so didnt need a hub.
