UNWIND YOUR MIND BACK TO GOD: Experiencing A Course In Miracles

I've been through this wonderful book twice so far, including the exercises. Whether you've been working with A Course in Miracles for many years or just a short while or not at, if you read it and do the exercises you will know how valuable it is to enhance your own journey in life. My opinion is that it is the best practical application of the spiritual truths in this world -- the most truly helpful. You will know yourself in a way that will open you up for joy, love, truth, and peace. If that's what you want, and you are willing , get the book and work it.

I'm reading this book everyday in the morning with Dale, my ex-husband at Starbucks and were almost done with it. We have been reading the Course together for 20 years. 18 years ago we got divorced. We didn't really understand what the Course was saying but we kept reading. I found David this past year and was ready to hear what he was teaching. I never heard any other teacher teach like him and he seems so happy. This happiness was what really attracted me.Dale and I read the Course from cover to cover 3 times a year for many years. I started watching David on youtube and listening to him on Spreaker and would tell Dale what he said. When I asked if he would like to read Unwind Your Mind with me he surprisingly said OK. It's been amazing. The Holy Spirit is coming through loud and clear.

Only a few pages in and the words of these pages lead One to where One Is. Illusory form and symbol give way to Divine Silence. Gloria in Excelsis Deo. All Praise be to Thee O Lord Most High. Amen.

"Going Deeper" is the best companion text to "A Course in Miracles" I have found. This little book is packed with clarifications on many of the more confusing principles presented in the Course. "Going Deeper" is much more than an intellectual companion text for it presents complicated, real life situations. This book is for any that have been studying the Course for awhile and want more practical applications. On a deserted island, I want these two books: “A Course in Miracles" and " Going Deeper"!

Here is a very useable application of A Course in Miracles(ACIM) expressed in practical everyday illustrations with related questions--discussed and answered in clear dialogue. David Hoffmeister models many of the teachings of ACIM in a conversational approach -- just like being in a Course workshop where one can ask questions related to Course principles, as they arise. "Unwind Your Mind Back to God" is an excellent resource for students of A Course in Miracles to further implement its ideas into their daily lives.

If Jesus is the wayshower out of the crazy maze of the split mind, and he is, then David shows us where the bread crumbs are along the way in practical applicable everyday life bites to sustain us as we unwind our mind trek back to God. Also a great resource for the A Course In Miracles. A must have for serious metaphysic students.

Unwind Your Mind has immeasurably deepened my understanding of and ability to experience the teachings of A Course in Miracles. Since reading it, it feels like I have graduated from the kiddie pool of understanding to diving off the highest diving board. The Course is no longer just a bunch of words on the page. It has become a moment by moment experience. Thank you, David, for having the courage to live the Courses lessons and then share your experience in such a profound way.

This book was amazing! Any serious ACIM students that have the calling for a more intense understanding of what the course is expressing and more importantly how to apply it into your daily life would benefit at a very core level. This book covers the course in a purely non dualistic way that brings about shift after shift in the pursuit of freedom.
