9 Blade Shredding Scissors

I have made marmalade for many years but I have always shredded the skins by hand. This year for the first time I decided to try herb scissors to see if it made cutting the skins easier and more consistent. I have reviewed the 5-blade scissors at length because they worked better, but these did cut the skins very evenly and I now have jars of fine-cut marmalade too. The skins were in half to boil then thirds to chop. These scissors worked fine though I think the skins were a bit too soft for these narrow blades. Next time I will stick to the medium-cut marmalade. It was no problem shredding the skins and 1.5kg of oranges took about ten minutes at the most. I have not tried cutting up the uncooked skins; that might work better, but I think it would be much harder on the fingers.

These are good. I saw them or similar on Kirstie's christmas crafts show and was amazed at what you can do with them. They are really heavy though especially when doing a lot of cuts, hence not giving 5 stars.I haven't used them for shredding docs, but it's an added bonus that I can do.
