I purchased this headset because I work in a machine shop where the noise floor is close to 65 db continuous. The headset ANC is great! I can hear so well. However the microphone is complete garbage. I sound like I am 10 feet away even if I scream into it or hold it on my lips. I did confirm that it’s the headset mic performance and I am not hearing my built in microphone. I have done multiple test calls on Teams and audio recording software and no improvement. I have turned up the microphone input in Control Panel and that just makes it distorted. For the price I was disappointed especially with cheaper headsets without noise canceling sounds WAY better.

As an avid user of headsets for both work and leisure, I recently looking for headsets has both ANC and ENC mic. While it boasts impressive a sleek design, there are significant drawbacks that cannot be overlooked.One of the most is its clamping force. Upon wearing it, I immediately noticed how uncomfortably tight it felt on my head. The clamping force was far too strong, causing discomfort after just a short period of use. This tightness not only made extended wear unbearable but also left marks on my skin, which is unacceptable for a product intended for daily use.Another downside is the size of the earcups. Despite having average-sized ears, I found the earcups to be surprisingly small. This resulted in my ears feeling cramped and constantly pressed against the inside of the cups. This not only added to the discomfort but also negatively impacted the sound quality, as there was minimal space for sound to resonate properly.The price is decent. However, this is overshadowed by the discomfort caused by the tight clamping force and small earcups.Unless these issues are addressed in future iterations, I would advise potential buyers to explore other options available on the market.
