Nice Little Bead Kit
Great little kit! I made several bracelets so far. The little scissors are cute, but they don't work well. I would buy again. It's worth it for the price!

Fun fun fun!
Good little bracelet making kit for kids AND adults. Instructions are clear on how to add a clasp and the beads are super cute. Wish there was some advice on how to measure the string size so I don’t under cut the string.

Pretty Colors
The bead colors seem to be pretty much as shown in the picture. I love the gold beads. The scissors? They're a bit tiny and juvenile looking. I'll be using my big-girl scissors. Maybe it's mostly juveniles who use these beads to make bracelets!

A Large Selection of Colors
I’ve made jewelry for awhile now but not used these disc clay beads before and got this kit because it had a wide selection of colors and came with a well organized bead box. I received mine sealed in plastic with damage to the box. This was a real shame because I wasn’t planning on integrating most of these beads into my existing beads. Ultimately I ended up putting the effected color into a small plastic bag and all the charms, letter beads, findings etc. into an existing bead organizer that had similar style beads. Someone had asked for Christmas presents for a teenager in need in my area and I made her a bracelet based on the brief description I got. It turned out quite nice and everything was from the kit. I did use some jewelry pliers I own to secure the findings but otherwise it’s all included.I’m impressed at how easily I was able to make something nice. These beads and pony beads are all the rage these days and pony beads are fun but the finished product never is going to look professional. I’d estimate you can get about 50 bracelets from this kit based on how much was left over after making the one. But likely you will run out of thing and need to supplement before you get there. I opted for the more professional look but you can also finish these with basic knots. I’ve not worked with elastic string a lot but I find it doesn’t keep knots as well as other types. You can buy glue to keep the knots in place which is a good idea to get as it can be really frustrating to finish a piece and watch the entire thing come apart when the knot fails to hold. I used double knots instead as I don’t have glue. Also the directions that came with the kit have the photos for the knot method with the directions for finishing it off with findings and vice versa.Overall this kit is a great value especially when it doesn’t end up arriving cracked. That being said the case itself isn’t the sturdiest and while it is fine for holding this kit it’s not exactly something that is made to be used for very long. You can make some nice jewelry with it. The charms included are higher quality than I thought there would be and are a little more detailed. All the alphabet beads are popular right now I just tend not to work with them. I don’t know the name of the teenager I made this for otherwise I would have. Song lyrics are also popular to spell out in beads with this type of jewelry at the moment.
