Punches well above its weight and price.
I fitted this to an ancient Epiphone Les Paul (in the bridge position). It sits alongside a Seymour Duncan (in the neck position) which I purchased many years ago. Okay, the SD has slightly better gain, depth and harmonic nuances to it, but costing more than three times the price, I should damn well think so too! This is no slouch either. It wouldn't disgrace any midrange guitar as it punches well above its weight and price bracket. A good pickup for a good price, unless of course only the very best will do for you. You pays your money. . . .

Outstanding
Love this pickup, the price is an absolute steal. Will be using toneriders going forward, I’ll probably go Alnico 2 in neck next time but the rocksong is fantastic and sounds amazing

Superb for the money
I wasn't expecting too much for the price, but they are actually fantastic. I replaced the standard pups in my Ibanez with these and they transformed the guitar.

Definite improvement over factory fitted pick ups
I have fitted a Rocksong bridge zebra pick up to my £200 Yamaha electric. Which is a strat type guitar with two single coil pick ups anda bridge humbucker. Even with my very limited electrical ability I did not find it hard to fit. Definite improvement over the Yamaha stock pick up. You get a fat powerful sound with plenty of sustain. Quite a versatile tone. You could play jazz, blues or rock on this.sounds good even through my humble 15 watt Marshal amp.If you want an idea of the sound, Its worth looking at U tube type in Tonerider rocksong and you will get a good idea of what they sound like. Very pleased with tone, and excellent fast service from Dangleberry music.
