Perfect filler bags for my Ultimate Sandbag
So, a few months ago I ordered an Ultimate Sandbag (Power Pink Package) for my Body Rock workouts. It comes with 2 filler (patented) bags that can be filled up to 15 lbs each. Not supposed to leak sand. They did. Also, the top of the velcro folds (on the corners) would often leave bruises on my forearms when I was doing cleans because they shifted inside the sandbag. I called the company- they sent me new filler bags. Same thing happened- but even worse. After research- I decided to purchase 2 of the 15lb sandbells (empty) as they are soft material with no hard edges.I filled them to about 9 lbs each. I like them and ordered one more to add a little more weight and balance and to fill up the space in the bag. This is an awesome solution for me and even if it weren't, these bad boys were made to be used like dumb bells. Anyway, highly recommend.

Amazingly Functional and Well Built
I found these by accident when looking at other sandbags. I've been using these with clients for about a month now and the main things I'd point out are:1. Flexibility. Aside from the obvious functional fitness movements these are super flexible. I use them in place of regular dumbbells all the time.2. Durability (apparent). The stitching on these appears as though these will hold up for years. I'd like to write a follow up a year from now and see if that has come to pass.3. Loading. These are a bit of a pain in the butt to load but I've had absolutely zero leakage and my clients are slamming and throwing these around for hours a day. I really wish the seller would sell the funnel shown in the demo. But if PITA loading = no leakage then it's a fair trade off.

Like it, don't love it.
I liked it, but didn't love it. I bought the sandbells to throw some variety into my exercise classes. The shifting sand makes using these a great workout.Pros: I like the fact that they come empty and you can fill them yourself. Saves on shipping. They are tough, I was skeptical at first about how durable they were, but after putting them through a few bootcamp classes they held up quite nicely.Cons: The manufacturer said they may leak a few granules, however, both of the sandbells I bought leaked dust everywhere. It came out of the seams on the edge of the sandbell. The 'Ngazzle' (pronounced nozzle, how you fill the sandbell up) seems to keep working its way out of both of the sandbells I bought, I haven't found a solution to fix this yet.Overall: Despite the subtle leaking of dust, I probably will buy more of these. If you use this product in an environment that isn't nitpicky about keeping everything clean all the time, these are a great addition to your workout!

I want to love them, but...
I want to love these sandbag-type dumbbells, because they're a great idea. And they are safe, effective, and travel well. BUT good luck filling and un-filling them. You have to find just the right kind of sand, which isn't easy because most hardware store sand doesn't go down a funnel easily. I've tried "multipurpose" sand and "playground" sand, but each time, the sand simply got stuck in the funnel. I also cut the tip of the funnel to make it wider, and still the sand got stuck. See the attached pic. Of course beach sand works great, but I no longer live close to a beach. So, until they make (1) sandbells with a wide mouth that you can zipper open/close or (2) sandbells you can fill with water, I won't be buying anymore Hyperwear Sandbells.

portable 'dumbell'
I got this for my training. It is very useful as i can bring it around easily. This sandbell can be use indoor or outdoor. I used it a lot of balancing exercise. But after just a couple of usage my sandbell start to leak. I'm not sure what cause the leak till i found a cut at the back of sandbell which i'm not sure how the cut get there. So I think even though this sandbell is portable and good for training but may not as 'tough' as it should be as per description.

Bought Another One!
This is my fifth Sandbell that I have purchased. I use them on a regular basis for my High School players and personal training. The Sandbells are easy to fill as long as you have a long neck funnel. A rubber band is supplied to seal the filling tube. How to use them. The video provided by Hyperwear really help guide in the different exercises you can perform them. They can be used similar to dumbbells, medicine balls, kettle bells, and slam balls.I load mine in backpacks or sand bag for in doing bodyweight push ups and pull ups.MaintenanceI have had a set for over 5 years and clean them every two weeks with OdoBan.I have had to re-fill the sand in them a couple of times. This is mainly due to the slam workouts that I use with the high school teams. The Sandbells do not leak but the sand breaks down. This appears a fine dusk when throw them down.

If I had the money I'd go for a steel bell but I love my sandbell!
This thing is awesome! Yeah it's kind of time consuming to fill but I'll trade it for how much shipping would be if it came profiled. I probably use this 3-4 times a week in my workouts. You can slam it, toss it, kick it, whatever. It's made very well. I've completely abused this thing & have only noticed a few grains of sand sneak out, it'll probably be years before I have to add any. It's soft enough it not damage any floors, gym equipment, body parts, yet durable enough to take a brutal workout time & time again.

Great quality and easy to set up.
This was a great addition to my work out routine. Very good quality product, and easy to set up. I picked up some play sand at a home depot along with a funnel, which you need to fill it. It comes with a rubber band to close off the tube. Stuck it pack inside the sandbell and it was ready to go. I use it several times a week and so far no sand has leaked out. Very durable.

Expensive, but well-built
I used a 20-pounder for over a year, week in and week out, and it's still in top shape, despite all that slamming! This 25 lbs model has likewise been going strong for the last 6 months. Will buy a 30 next.

Extortionate waste of money
It cost £63 for a 6kg EMPTY bag and I can't get any sand into it.Extortionate price for what is essentially a redundant piece of material. Feel like I've been fleeced because of lockdown. And now its only £19!!
