Very Nice Straps
Wasn’t expecting too much from these, just some standard straps, but after unpacking these I’m quite impressed. The hooks are nicely coated and feel heavy. The strap is good quality and the cams are heavy as well. Fantastic straps for the price.

Good set of cam buckle tiedowns perfect for tieing down dirt bikes in a truck or on a trailer.
These are good quality tiedowns straps that make securing your dirt bikes in the backs of trucks or on trailers a breeze. These are so easy to use compared to ratchet buckle tiredowns. Because these use the cam buckle lock type adjustment, once the hooks are in place there is no threading of straps, setting them in about the right place, and then ratcheting them until they are tight like you must do with ratchet type buckles. Instead, once the hooks are placed you just give the one dangling strap on each tiedown a solid tug or two until the tension is all the way tight as you can go and... and nothing, if you have both sides even, you are done. Also, let's clear up something, these are NOT rated for a 1,200 lb load, they are rated for a 400 lb load. They have a breaking strength of 1,200 lbs, which means they have been engineered to sustain peak snatch type of sudden short shocks on the load of up to 5 times the strength of the load capacity, not a sustained load of 1,200 pounds. How well do these types of straps hold? I have personally watched a Ford F150 truck roll down a hill sideways for 2 complete rolls and the two bikes in the back which were each held in place with a set of these on the handlebars of each bike holding them to the front of the truck bed, and a single rope on the rear tying both rear wheels together. Fortunately the truck had a roll bar, and the 2 guys were actually wearing seatbelts, so there was only minor cuts and bruises. The bikes actually came out almost as well, they were still strapped in when everything came to a stop, and hadn't lost a bit of tension. The rear fenders and seats took a hit from the ground at some point and we're trashed, but that's not bad. The point is, this thing spun like a bowling ball down the hill, and the bikes never came loose despite all of the centrifugal force and slamming into the ground. Cam buckles of a decent quality do not come loose as long as they are pulled very tightly when putting them on, the force of any extra pull on the load makes the buckle lock tighter the harder the force. They can not be left with slack in the strap, but neither can that be done with ratchet straps. Cam buckle locks perform perfectly well if they are used properly. So, are these made properly? They are, the knurled portion on the cam is pronounced, and the spring pressure is more than adequate on the cam return. The straps are a 1" wide, thicker nylon, and that is plenty of tensile strength. The sewing is very well done with double stitching and cross stitching on all attachment points. The metal of the buckle is very heavy duty, and much more than strong enough to not bend. The hooks are also a heavy duty steel, and plenty strong enough to not bend under any load. The hooks have spring loaded clips on them to keep them from falling off of a closed hook, and a piece of strap serves as padding to protect surfaces under the buckle. I do wish the hooks were a bit wider at their opening, but the soft tie can easily go around anything the hook won't, with a free end run around your attachment point, then through the loop, then up to go over the hook and be held in place with the clip. This also adds some length to the tie down if needed. I received a kit with two sets of two tiedowns and two sets of two soft ties for a total of 4 of each, which at the $24 cost for the kit makes these cheaper than the cheapo thin and very weak ones from Horrible Freight and Walmart. These are an excellent value for an excellent product, and I can very much recommend them.

Not that impressed with their usefulness as 2200lb tie-downs, owing to their cam buckles.
We are in the throes of getting ready to move home again. This time we are using self-loaded containers. So, to ensure that our home furnishings get there in one-piece, over recent months, I have ordered several types of tie-downs to try to field test which of these offers the best product, for the buck. This 2-pack was quite pricey and furthermore, they only extended to 8ft in total. However, they did also provide tie-down loops, which in some circumstances, could marginally increases the length, depending on the application of the straps.I am really not a fan of the safety clip on the hook, I find these more of an annoyance than helpful. And using cam buckles for tie-downs is never a good idea, in my opinion. If you are holding down weighty loads, a ratchet tie-down is the only way to go and that is where I would start going to look for tie-downs.For this reason, we are most likely going to use this set to hold together a large box, trunk or case, where perhaps packing tape would struggle to hold it together or, perhaps damage the item.Overall, just 3 stars for these. They are pricey and I am not that impressed with their usefulness as 2200lb tie-downs owing to their cam buckles.

Decent set of cam buckle ties for securing my kayak
There’s so many tie down brands and styles anymore it’s hard to settle on what’s best. After looking over videos on securing kayaks, this style was the most recommended. This style is much quicker to secure and release than the ratchet type, and less likely to over tighten, damaging to kayak. I didn’t test the 1200lb break strength since I bought this for securing a 60lb kayak to my roof rack. There are a few things about these particular straps that that give them an edge over some others. The clips on the hooks are handy. Second, the extra piece of material that sits under your buckle to keep it from scratching whatever you’re carrying is huge. No more pieces of cardboard to avoid abrasion marks on my kayak. Overall these have alot of good and from what I can tell no bad. I'm happy with my new set of tie downs.

This is an amazing set of straps. They are a great length for my truck and they are so quick and easy to use. They are great quality and I was very surprised at how good they tightened down. The hooks are very solid and hold up great. I would highly recommend.
