I’ve been really impressed with the AUVON Plug-in LED Backlit Night Light. It’s the perfect combination of functionality and convenience, especially with both the motion sensor and dusk-to-dawn sensor built in. The motion sensor works reliably, turning the light on as soon as you walk by and shutting off automatically when no movement is detected. This is ideal for nighttime trips to the bathroom or hallway without needing to fumble for switches. I also love the dusk-to-dawn feature, which ensures the light only activates when it’s actually dark. It saves energy and makes the whole experience truly hands-off. The soft LED backlight is gentle and not harsh on the eyes, providing just enough illumination without disturbing sleep. It’s bright enough to guide your path but not so bright that it wakes you fully. Another bonus is its compact design, which doesn’t block the second outlet. Installation is effortless—just plug it in and it’s ready to go.

I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much when I ordered these. I've bought cheap night lights before and they always end up flickering, falling out of the outlet, or just dying after a few weeks. These are completely different. Quality is immediately noticeable — the housing feels solid, the light itself has a beautiful warm 2200K glow that doesn't feel cheap or clinical. The backlit panel gives it a really clean, modern look on the wall. Reliability has been spot on. The motion sensor picks up movement every single time without delay, and the dusk-to-dawn feature works automatically without me ever having to touch them. They just... work.

If I could change one thing, it would be that the most dim setting would be a bit more dim. Other than that, this is an excellent night light. In particular, it does have a dimmer, and the motion detector is sensitive and works well. If you need a light for a dark hall or staircase for emergency evacuation and don't want it on when it's not needed, this would be a great choice. It would also work well on the automatic / motion detector setting for a bedroom you want dark until you have to get up in the middle of the night.

I love these lights. They’re super versatile and can be turned from motion sensing or just always on, and the brightness can be adjusted from very low and subtle to nicely bright. They’re also a pleasant warm glow and not the harsh cool light of most LEDs. They’re also a backlit design, so it never shines directly toward you, instead offering a more modern and elegant way to illuminate your home. I have these under my cabinets in the kitchen and it looks so good there and also perfectly lights it up at night when needed without having to turn on overhead lights, which is especially great at night when grabbing a drink of water and your eyes haven’t adjusted yet. Also great for the bathroom for the same reason. And because it’s a pleasant warm tone light, it’s even easier on the eyes and just generally looks and feels much better too. And you get 4 in one pack. I’ve had them up for over a year and they all still work perfect. Definitely recommend these. Actually bought another pack after the first arrived because I was so pleased with them.
