PERFECT SOUND AS EXPECTED
I play timbales and this jamblock was missing for the timbales. It's a mid sound just perfect. Then I have to search for bells to complete the set.

Latin Percussion LP1207 Percussion Block
This percussion block is better than I expected, in whole it is a solid and heavier than a similar size wood instrument and it produces a great ( hollow knock) sound. The percussion block comes with a well constructed mounting clamp that block can be mounted on a instrument setup or the clamp can be completely taken off and can be hand held, the manufacturer or the designer really put some thought into making this product better than others, really great craftmanship. I very happy with the product and the purchase and I will be buying more of the brand in the future.

Great mid-tone
I would recommend this red plastic block to all drummers looking for a plastic block. This plastic block sounds a lot like a rim-shot and is good for click-track sounds, very accurate. This red plastic block almost sounds like wood, not as tin-sounding as the higher tone plastics.

OH MY GOD IS RIGHT ABOUT THE SOUND THAT I WAS LOOKING FOR! I bought High and Medium Pitch, and they sound GREAT with either of my sets. Big time cut through on the drumset and balanced difference of sounds when on congas. These blocks are sturdy and terrific heavy duty. Are amazing and I could not suggest them more!!
